The restaurant is known for its lovely and special ambience, making it a standout choice in Manhattan. It is a great spot to visit before heading to the opera at Lincoln Center. The pre-theater dinner is a highlight, featuring dishes like spring pea soup, grilled salmon with asparagus and mustard sauce, and lavender ice cream with yogurt ice cream and pistachios. Guests have praised the outstanding food, including Duck Confit, Vitello Tonnato, and Dover Sole, as well as very fresh raw oysters and clams. Many visitors have enjoyed the super food and beautiful presentation, along with warm and impeccable service. The bar is described as magnificent and a relaxing place to unwind, enhanced by live music that sets a lovely tone without being intrusive.
