Wow, wow, wow. A friend steered us here for lunch. We had no idea what kind of restaurant it was, and though it looked nice, there was nothing indicating that the food would be great. Yet it was. The tomato soup was very good. The fried calamari was light and crispy, and the addition of sesame was a flash of genius. Really wonderful. The arrancini with truffle were absolutely the best we have ever had.Very large restaurant, nice ambiance, good service. Great for a wonderful lunch.
We went to The Smith twice. One we sat outside, but covered. Pleasant and, even in the cold, with heaters that made the environment pleasant. I had a delicious salad, my husband had pasta. Free water and wine by the glass. The second time we sat in the inner room. It's more hectic, noisy, cramped. But the food is good and worth it.Vegetarian options: Salad and soup

Good food and really good service at decent prices, but intolerably noisy inside, and only a little better outside. Not helped by metal chairs constantly scraping on a concrete floor. Could barely hear the waitress, who herself was incredibly loud!
