Saint Tuesday Reviews
muito aconchegante, preços justos e ótima musica
I did not get to spend nearly enough time at Saint Tuesday to really enjoy the full experience, so it’s absolutely on my list of places to return. We had dinner reservations so stopped into Saint Tuesday too early to enjoy the music. Our entire experience was five-stars though. Once we fumbled through the alley a bit, we found the door and were greeted and taken down to the speakeasy. Jamie greeted us and took our drink orders, and in him we found a new best friend! We stayed at the Walker Hotel and made a 10:15 reservation for Saint Tuesday. It's a very intimate vibe, unfortunately the trio that was playing started their break just as we sat and didn't go on for another 30min, once they started again it was great. The service was excellent, we tried the Mango and Don Lockwood, both were excellent we then requested a bartender choice for a Gin based cocktail and he did a great job. Saint Tuesday offers a speakeasy-like atmosphere with a focus on strong drinks and live jazz music. The hidden entrance adds to the charm, requiring guests to take a side elevator and navigate through hallways. Once inside, the intimate setting is perfect for a date night. The knowledgeable barkeepers, including bartender Pancho, can suggest drinks based on taste preferences, making it a great spot to discover new cocktails and make new friends. While the drinks, priced around $22, are the main attraction, the flatbread is a pleasant surprise. The Campers Sipper, along with the strawberry shortcake and manhattan cocktails, received high praise for their taste and presentation. The bar is known for its dark, vibey ambiance and unique cocktails made with house-made ingredients. It’s an ideal place to catch a drink, enjoy great jazz, and cuddle up with a date in a cozy underground space. Prices are premium, comparable to Manhattan standards, especially if lovers of quality ingredients look for top-notch cocktails. Food options are limited to small bites, making it perfect for a post-dinner outing or a splurge for an intimate date night. Arriving early can guarantee a spot to enjoy the live music, although recent reviews mention that the reservation time may be short and that they might be asked to leave sooner than expected. The bar is known for its friendly staff and great decor, with some visitors choosing to sit in the hotel lobby with comfortable seating if they just want to stop for drinks. Some reviews note that the live music may not always be jazz, as blues or country rhythms can sometimes be played instead. Overall, Saint Tuesday remains a cozy, stylish spot for those seeking quality cocktails and a special atmosphere.
