Based on the reviews, Smash House Burgers 47th Street is a hidden, no-nonsense burger spot with serious flavor. It is located on the third floor of a building in the Diamond district and is hard to find, tucked inside like a hidden shtiebel. Consider it a takeout window, not a sit-down shul. There is no place to sit and eat, so customers must find their own seating in an outdoor plaza. The service is quick and to the point. The food is mamash gevaldig, with a crispy smashed exterior and a soft, juicy inside. The bun holds up nicely. Specific meals mentioned include the double burger double cheese with onions pickles and smash sauce, and Combo 1 with burger, beef fry, onions, sauce and brioche bun.
