I’ve been to this Smorgasburg twice this summer. It’s pretty decent. The live band (Latin music) that I encountered the second time added a really cool touch. The food I tried was good too. I had samosas and a catfish Poboy. The patrons were not as friendly and engaging as the other 2 Smorgasburgs I visited in Brooklyn (Prospect Park and Kent Ave) but that could just be because it’s a touristy venue. Smogasburg, located outside Oculus is the largest weekly open air food market. There are many Street vendors to choose from. You can use many forms of payments here, not necessarily cash. It can get pretty crowded and the wait time for food might take a while.

This location has fewer vendors than the original location but they still offer alot of variety. On this occasion I had cheese steak from fedoroff's. It was a lot of food for less than $20. Pretty good for NYC prices. The sandwich itself was made fresh and delicious. This spot is worth the visit.
