wasabi sushi & bento Reviews
Had quite the hard time trying to find them! They're located in the West Concourse (Westfield) of WTC.
They serve Japanese staples such as sushi, onigiri, poke bowls, rice bowls, etc.
I wanted to eat something light so I got their:
Miso Soup ($3.85) - which was okay
Seaweed Onigiri ($5.75) - my favorite!
Roasted Salmon Onigiri ($6.35) - this tasted good!

Wasabi Sushi & Bento offers a convenient sushi and Japanese food experience. The sushi rice bowl has an okay taste, but it can be pricey for a fast-food option. However, it's the only lunch spot available on Sundays in the area. The restaurant has a strong smell of oil smoke. Despite the higher prices since the pandemic, the food remains good, with popular items like the veggie roll box, hot and sweet chicken, chicken katsu, and chicken katsu curry bowl. The chicken is tender and flavorful, although the rice can sometimes become cold and stiff at the bottom of the bowls.
The restaurant has ample seating, both inside and outside, and the WTC location features unique sliding bathrooms. Customers praise the affordable and fresh sushi, cozy seating area, friendly and helpful staff, and the variety of hot and cold options, including vegetarian choices. The restaurant is a great lunch option, with a quick pick-up and pay system, and a clean, efficient space.
