SoZo Sip Bar + Omakase Reviews
First time trying Sozo and I’d definitely recommend it if you are looking for a reasonable and delicious omakase experience! Would return for sure!
I lived in NYC for 16 years and wanted to try omakase for the longest time. SoZo finally broke the spell, primarily because this place is immaculately tailored to accommodate all travelers including the lonesome party of one. Food is incredible and a true tasting experience - this is obvious and unnecessary to harp on. The real gem, however, is the ambiance…the staff and overall vibe are one of a kind - elegant, sophisticated , charming, humble, and welcoming. I came alone...read full review
Great value for money and more importantly delicious. The drinks are fantastic. Highly recommend.
Ps this is not a bot, and didn’t take enough photos to do it justice

SoZo Sip Bar + Omakase is a newer restaurant that just opened about two months ago in NoHo. The space is small, cozy, and perfect for a date night or a quiet sushi dinner. The $89 15-course omakase is such a good deal for NYC, with everything well paced and leaving guests full but satisfied. The fish is incredibly fresh and the garnishes are creative and perfectly paired. Favorite bites include the O-toro with caviar, king salmon with foie gras, Hamatchi (yellowtail), Shima Ají (striped jack), and the best Horse Mackerel ever tasted. The menu also includes barracuda, which is hard to get, along with scallop and king salmon with foi gras. The 3 cocktails are delicious and the sake options are great as well. The service is wonderful, with the staff and chef being engaging and incredibly nice.
