“Average food, low average service. Sever took forever to approach table to even fill our water glasses. When she did, she took the order of the table next to us first, even though we had been there ten minutes before them. Forgot to bring my drink order. Didn't refill water glasses. Just didn't seem up to the job. Runny/watery queso and pretty generic tacos. It was a shame as we'd heard good things. Won't return.“

“I loved the modern place, open if you want outside or inside, there are two environments or rooms, there is no happy hour, it is not very economical, the divine drinks even the virgin versions are divine, the service is very good, the shrimp meat nachos are also divine, the salads, I liked everything 👍“

“This is one of our favorite places to PLAY MUSIC in the city, and we love it so much... we go there on our off nights, too, just to hang out. There's always a friendly scene and the food, drink, and atmosphere are unbeatable. Top 1 place in NYC.“

“Fantastic frozen margaritas and piña coladas. The food is pretty good too, especially the fried stuff like the chimichangas and the Taco Salad that comes in a deep fried bowl. The entrees are served with generous sides too so a dish is enough to feed a 6'5" 220lb man-walrus.“
“Asked for a torta with enchilada pork at 8:30 am. They quickly and efficiently accommodated a request they likely don’t get at that hour. The torta was absolutely excellent and I’ve had a hundred or more after overtime a decade in so cal and Mexico. They do it right. Will be back.“

“Good service, good live music.“
“Parked on 19th Street from Mon–Fri, and on Governors Island at the weekends, this Mexican-food food truck serves up tasty tacos and such. I loved the cecina (salted beef) taco with its tender, flavourful slices of meat, chopped cilantro & onion, and avocado crema. The chicken taco was well-seasoned and tender, too. Two tacos was a perfect lunch. The empanadas are of the fried, short-pastry-style, and pretty large.Kind staff who know how to deal patiently with indecisive tourists, too :)“

“some of the best Mexican food I've had in nyc, simple , quite , true to the core. I got the Puebla Burrito - A flour tortilla filled with stewed chicken, rice, beans, cream Topped with mole sauce and melted cheese. It was savory and perfect with the beans and chicken, I added spicy 🌶️ sauce to make it perfect for me. If you want great burrito 🌯come this way 🌯“

“My son and I stumbled upon Burrito Mariachi while on vacation. I had my doubts as it had Asian type in the front window, but they specialize in Tex Mex and they do it REALLY well. We have decided to visit much more frequently during our vacation. We tried the steak burrito bowl and the steak was so tender and flavorful, it felt like back home. The bowl was layered with rice, black beans, lettuce, guacamole, pico and a dash of sour cream. If you like Tex Mex, give it a try.“

“The food is good and the delivery is great. You can except your food to be delivered quickly. The only thing is that the women who takes your order over the phone doesn’t speak or understand English. My orders are always wrong. Either she forgets to pack my sodas or I’m missing things. Make her repeat your order always!!“

“Covid review. Delivery and take out only so check the menu before coming or call ahead to save you time. Definitely good chicken/beef tacos for the road but the bowls are probably my go to for sure. Home made juices to go definitely a keeper anytime I order.“

“I moved to the neighborhood about 2 years ago and tried a few Chinese food restaurants but this place is the best. They are clean, quick delivery, and are always very nice. I'd recommend you get food from here if you're in the mood for some Chinese. Their Tex-Mex is also good but I usually just get Chinese.“

“Came here with friends who are locals because this is one of their favorite spots. The restaurant itself is small and very well decorated to fit the tex-mex theme.
We thought service was okay - we ordered chips and queso, 2-3 tacos per person, and later some corn bread. It felt like we watched tables who ordered after us all get their chips first while ours came out slow with no spacing between the appetizer and tacos.
For the food, the flavor of the beer queso was very good. I tried the bean and cheese taco and chicken verde taco which were equally 4/5. The star of the show was the tortillas which were excellent. We also had the cornbread which was a very good balance of sweet and salty between the caramelized walnuts and salty butter.
My wife had the barbacoa taco and papas tacos which were both only okay taste wise . They do really loaf up all the tacos with a large amount of filling which is nice.
We were a bit confused when asked about allergens - we mentioned that my wife has a peanut allergy to the server and their response was if it is okay for there to be potential cross contamination where peanuts could get into the dish on a shared prep space, which is not our general familiarity with cross contamination risk, this would just be containing peanuts. We were confused how to answer and they did tell the kitchen about the allergy for us but my wife was eating nervously the whole time waiting to see if she would have a reaction or not. More confidence in the answer from the server would have helped.
I’d come back for the quesadillas and corn bread.
The bathroom is clean, make sure to respect the pillsburry dough man tribute 🙃! (see photos)“
