Had a wonderful pre-theater dinner here last night. The restaurant has a very cool, comfortable vibe. Our waiter Liam provided exceptional, attentive service. And the food - can't say enough about the shepherds pie. Savory and satisfying, especially on one of the first brisk fall days in the city. We will be back and you should try it too!
Excellent burger!! Definitely give this place a go!!
We were looking for a place to eat and drink after a Broadway show, and the Brazen Tavern was perfect. Busy enough to feel like a fun night out but ot too busy to get a seat. The bartender was friendly and chatty and made a good drink. And the food was delicious!

Located in the Theatre District, The Brazen Tavern Irish Bar & Restaurant is a quaint, cozy pub with an ambience like an authentic old English pub. The space is adorable and inviting, with plenty of tvs for events and a fireplace that is warm and cozy. The staff was great, attentive, friendly, and never rushed, making guests feel immediately at home. The beer was cold and fresh, and the drinks were good; highly recommend the sparkling pear. Food was excellent and delicious, with options like chicken dumplings, sliders, steak quesadillas, and typical tavern fare. Clean bathrooms are always a WIN. While the atmosphere and service are exceptional, some noted the bar was a bit sticky and the happy hour prices felt a bit high—for two adults and two children during happy hour, the bill was $140 without tip. Despite this, the quality makes it worth a visit for a bite to eat and a drink before or after a show.
