I took the tram over to explore Roosevelt Island. From the tram landing, I walked south on the western side side side facing Manhattan. Great views.
I needed coffee coffee first and Google Maps advises that the Cornell school has a public coffee shop. I easily found it and went in. Very large space with lots of tables inside and outside. Long counter serving hot food and sandwiches. Coffe is available at the cashier counter.

Hard to find a seat, filled with tourists, the food is ok 👍 not enough veg / fish and non meat options and healthy drink options.
