Was looking for a place to take a large group without being a nuisance and we landed on this place! Had the absolute best night chatting and playing darts
I came here for my birthday a couple weeks ago and I absolutely LOVED IT! Its comfortable, the drinks are great (and priced well!!!!) and we got to play darts. I was so so happy to be here and loved every moment. I cant wait to go again!!!
Johny is a class act. I didn’t even go to the bar, however I had lost my wallet on the street near the bar and one of his regulars found it and gave it to him. Johny was kind enough to find me on Instagram and return my wallet to me. Awesome guy and I will definitely be visiting this bar next time I’m in NYC.

The Gaf West is a hidden gem in Midtown, tucked away on a side street near Times Square. Once inside, the casual and local vibe makes everyone feel welcome. The bartenders are friendly, and the wine selection is enjoyable. The pub has a "Cheers"-like atmosphere, with friendly regulars and a welcoming ambiance. It’s a superb safe place for everyone, including solo travelers. They offer a variety of drinks, including specialty draft beers, and host comedy nights on Thursdays in the basement room known as "The Bomb Shelter," featuring great local talent. It's a great spot to catch a sports game, like football and baseball, enjoy a pint of beer, or play darts. The vibe is low-key and LGBTQ-friendly, with showtunes occasionally playing on the jukebox. Downstairs has 2 bathrooms and free comedy shows. The Gaf West is a cool spot with lovely servers and fairly priced drinks, making it a fun place for anyone looking to stop in for a drink and enjoy a great atmosphere.
