Cool vibes, Taylor was a great server and such a great conversationalist! Only weird vibe was the handmaids tale style uniforms!! Space was cute and art deco inspired but the servers were all in red dresses and capes that made me worried for their safety... please embrace the wild side freedom exemplified in the bar, bathrooms and lobby in the female server uniforms. Yummy drinks, great service, weird uniforms....
The Living Room at the Standard Highline pretends to be a welcome / greeting area that is more transitory and temporal in your visit. And yes, you can use it for a quick cup of coffee while you wait for someone to arrive. But surprisingly, they have great beer and food. Obviously, the in-house brewed beer from the Standard Biergarten next door is available, while their Lamb Lollipops were absolutely tasty. A special shoutout to Nadine, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, welcoming, and took great care of us from beginning to end. Excellent service like that really makes a difference.
