The food is good, the vibe is moody, and the service is smooth. See what I did there? 😆 It was an exquisite experience and I love the design of the space, it feels like a fantasy movie set in an imaginary China.

TIN’s is a restaurant with good food, a moody vibe, and smooth service. The design of the space feels like a fantasy movie set in an imaginary China. TIN’s offers dumpling, noodles, and cocktails that may be the best, most thoughtful, tasty, decadent, and savory in the city, not to mention the atmosphere and attention to detail and steps of service. The spot is incredible in every regard, with friendly and passionate bartenders flawlessly carrying out a phenomenal cocktail program. The food matches the cocktails in thoughtfulness and execution. The downstairs speakeasy is a dark, moody cocktail den, while the ground floor feels like a Shanghai diner dropped into the Lower East Side. The Mahjong tiles on the staircase and the stained glass behind the tabletop bar are lovely details. The TIN’s Lao Gan Ma Popcorn is a must get with a unique flavor. The Sheng Jian bao (6), the Cong You Ban Mian (with the ragu), and Tinned Fish are also enjoyed, and the noodles taste familiar but also elevated. Drinks include the Aloha Highlands, Bunny Blanco, Timmy’s Brain Blaster, Mango Pinacolassi, and the Ozymanthus. Service is phenomenal from the second guests walk in until they leave, attentive without hovering, and it feels like a team that actually enjoys working together. TIN’s is great for a date or a small group that wants food and drinks without needing to go to two different places.
