This was my favorite place I went to in NYC!!! I loved it! It took me a while to decide what I wanted because everything looked so delicious! I had the oxtails, maduros, beans and rice and it was sooo good! The staff waited patiently while I mulled over my decisions. The restaurant even has a side where they make juice that I unfortunately didn't get to try! I'm a tourist and I don't always get to eat amazing Dominican food but I was so happy I got to taste it. Food was good service was good. Thought we were getting the lunch special. Until we seen our bill way more than I expected. But will return again at least now I know there is no lunch specials everything is regular price

Great Dominican food. That said, Dominican food is very low key flavor. No Mexican heat. No Jamaican scotch bonnet. No pepper pot here. The fish was delicious. The chicharon was great. Chicharon is sold by the kilo. Half a kilo costs me $7.50. The okra stew was good but needs hot sauce or black pepper. The pinto beans were delicious. The place is spotless clean but the music is way too loud! ? ? Lots of meat dishes here.
