My favorite taco spot. Not cheap like back in the 90s but who is? Large variety of meats to choose from. If Spanish is an issue then use the app and you get a discount. They serve burritos, bowls etc.. ETA in your car or go home. There is outside seating. The staff are busy so don't bother them with nonsense. This place does tremendous business. My go to is tacos Oreja and carnitas. Occasionally I'll get a bowl with Oreja(pig ears). PS I have been several times a few doors down...read full review
OMG, so GOOD! I love tacos. I had the Birria tacos, with black beans and yellow rice, and they were amazing! Great menu of extra toppings available at reasonable prices. Pina Asada and grilled pineapple) for dessert, all washed down with a tamarind jarrito! Amazing, thanks guys!

Still one of my favorite taco spots in NYC 20+ years and counting but I worry that they're losing their original charm but catering to a gentrifying neighborhood by offering bowls etc a la chipotle. They still have all the traditional staples. Ear, tongue, tripe, and everything else simmering in their pot of goodness and finished on the flat top. The Al pastor rotating on the vertical spit is also a must have.
