“My most favorite restaurant. The salads , prime rib, hummingbird cake. I so look forward to going to dinner there. It is such a wonderful place and so cozy. It is our favorite. ❤️“

“This restaurant is Schenectady’s Best kept secret. I’ve been there several times for lunch and it never disappoints. The service is spot on from when you walk in the door, no pun intended but I’m in a wheelchair(handicap accessible) to when you are leaving, opening doors and exchanging goodbye pleasantries. The place itself is immaculate, shiny floors, beautiful atmosphere, great background music and above all delicious food you know is prepared to order. While being there for lunch, I ordered off the dinner menu with no problem, as the staff is extremely accommodating. The menu includes a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.
Next time you’re looking for a great, quiet and delicious place for lunch or dinner, give Chez Nous a try you will not be disappointed. They have private spacious rooms for small private events and I will reiterate the place is spotless and extremely comfortable with GREAT FOOD!

“Stopped tonight and we enjoyed the whole experience right from the start. Our server, Audrey, was very pleasant, and the service was fantastic. We decided to have appetizers instead of a meal. We ordered bang, bang shrimp, Buffalo chicken egg rolls and Philly steak egg rolls. All three were exceptional. I’m having a hard time deciding which I liked the best. My husband thought the Philly steak egg rolls were the best. The Manager ( or owner, not sure which) stopped by our table at the request of our waitress. I thought that was really nice. We highly recommend Maxon’s and are looking forward to going again.“

“We can’t say enough about this place! My boyfriend and I had our first date here so it’s very special to us. We had a gender reveal here back in November and they brought out ice cream with blue sprinkles and sang to us. I went there yesterday; bought a slice of cheesecake and asked if they could put a candle in it and bring it out as a surprise for mine and my boyfriends 1 year anniversary. Not only did they do this but they also gave us an “anniversary” discount. Thank you for helping us make our special dinners even more special with your cooperation. ❤️“

“Instead of recommending the restaurant or not I wish I could rate it with stars. I would give a 3.75 the food was the good. The service was good. The atmosphere was good. Nothing was stand out amazing. For the price I would think the entrees would come with a salad or bread for the table but they do not. Drinks of course were expensive as anywhere but I got the smallest pour of wine I’ve probably ever received. We went for a special occasion and I wish we would have went somewhere else. Maybe I’ll try again with friends again for lunch and hope for a better experience.“

This place has good vegan options as well. The Dirty Little Birdy signature cocktail may be the best drink I’ve ever had! Just annoyed I had to share it. Coming back on Friday!“

“We had a lovely table on the left-hand side as you enter the restaurant. The food was excellent. The server was pleasant. The only thing that could have been better was that we never received bread with our salads and appetizers as we were told that the bread was being baked in the oven. The portions were good and the presentation very nice We would come back again“

“Always friendly service, great options on the menu (they make custom changes), happy hour specials, and they have a great event schedule! Don’t forget to come in for your birthday- wings or clams or n the house!!! When we go for a birthday celebration we always get deer off the menu and get drink specials as well!!! I would suggest the Eggplant stack but ask for the Lisa Special- pesto instead of marinara!!! It’s absolutely to die for!!!“

“A great day today with a dear friend who has finally moved back to the Albany area.🥰 We have been friends for decades, and I even visited her when she lived in Denver, Colorado. We had a great lunch at Cafe Madison on Northern Boulevard in Albany. She had a yogurt parfait with granola, and fresh fruit, all topped off with enough whipped cream to blanket this group. 🤣 I had a salad of mixed baby greens, walnuts, dried cranberries,poached pears, goat cheese, and a delicious apple cider vinaigrette. Our waitress, Ashley, was a delight. The food was great, but she's the reason I'll be back. Great customer service skills. She loves her job, and it's reflected in her positive attitude.“

“This is more than a bar. It is the third space for many of us who call Pine Hills home. The building had previously been home to a bar called Mahars, which was one of the first craft beer bars in the country, before it was the cool thing to do. Madison Pour House has continued the tradition that Mahars began, that being an unrivaled beer selection, solid food, and a strong sense of community. If you are in Albany and are looking for a chill spot to grab a pint, this is the place.“

They do live music on weekends I believe, they have an extremely nice patio in the summer and keep part of it open into the winter depending on the weather.“

“Wheatfields makes their own pasta. They have 3 gluten-free options for pasta which is just unheard of for most restaurants. I ordered the shrimp and spinach dish on gluten-free linguine. It was savory and absolutely delicious. We love their truffle fries so we ordered those too and they were as good as I remembered. They come with garlic aoli sauce.

The atmosphere is nice with a couple of fireplaces located in the restaurant. There are booths and open tables. There is also a bar and it has seating but I don't know if you can order food from there. My husband got the caramel crunch cake for dessert and he loved it. It was a nice, quiet experience with good food and our server was fantastic.“

“I came in between 4 and 5pm with my husband. We are frequent visitors of the Latham location. When we were being cashed out, we were abruptly interrupted when a older male (assuming their boss) came from the back and started (quite rudely) yelling at the employees working the front. It was quite unappetizing to see them being spoken to in that manner, especially in front of customers. The friendly employees are one of the main reasons my husband and I favor this location. I am quite surprised they did not quit on the spot. I gave them a sympathetic look before putting money in one of the tip jars.“

“I came in for brunch with my year old son and was welcomed with such a friendly welcome! Received a menu along with a child menu with crayons ! Absolutely amazing to keep him occupied while I order. We ordered and got our amazingly cooked food in a very timely manner. Food was cooked to our requested temperature. Food was so delicious ! Was able to walk out spending no more than $70! “Love the food and service at 110 Latham. I've gotten the calamari several times and it never disappoints. After many visits getting my normal go to menu items like shrimp scampi that I love I decided at last weeks visit to ask the waitress for recommendations. “I recently had a wonderful lunch at SILKS Saratoga Bistro and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Saratoga Chopped Salad, and it was truly incredible. The portion size was generous and very filling, packed with fresh and flavorful ingredients. I also added salmon to my salad, and it was cooked to absolute perfection – flaky, moist, and seasoned beautifully.
Beyond the excellent food, the service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient, making the entire dining experience a pleasure. I highly recommend SILKS Saratoga Bistro and will definitely be returning, especially for that amazing Saratoga Chopped Salad!“
