“I’d like to say and point out a server/bartender that works here at this Applebee’s in Brentwood. Each and every time I come here this employee consistently gives me and other customers I’ve seen dine here some of the best service and attitude imaginable. I don’t know what his secret is, but I love coming through those doors and seeing that his big built body is on the clock. Every other server/bartender I’ve had has been great, but then here comes Diego taking it to another level.

Especially the positive attitude that I see him giving his coworkers as well. Lord forgive me, but I would love to be working with this man because it’s one thing to be kind and respectful to your customers, but another to be that same way with your coworkers. Especially with the two hostesses that I usually see when I come in on the weekends, the curly-haired boy with the glasses and the nice girl with the curly hair. They’re always so welcoming, and Diego fits right in with them.

Nothing but professional, nothing but friendly that man is. I hope he gets recognized for the way he treats his customers and the people working around him. Shout out to everybody else in this Applebee’s for their immaculate service, INCLUDING DIEGO, because that man deserves his flowers too.“

“I became a regular diner to Riley’s a couple of years ago. Gotta tell ya, the food is as good as any high restaurant I eat at and I dine out a lot. Fun, delicious, quality menu that has never once disappointed on any item, ever. Yes it is mostly basic pub food but so are 50% of the restaurants on Long Island now and Fibbers is perfect and priced more than fair. Can’t remember the servers but the two ladies are always right there, refills on drinks, food on time and always with a smile regardless how busy they are. Come back soon guys! “Had lunch here today for the first time and everything was excellent! Went with a group and we ordered appetizers to share. Mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, potato wontons, onion rings, everything pretzel and fried mozzarella — delicious!!! We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly and efficient. “I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

I was worried that I would not find something to eat because I am trying to watch what I'm eating, but I had a amazing salad with salmon that I can't even explain how good it was -- - totally more than I expected! It was delicious and something I am going to go back for as a staple! The service was great and the manager stopped over to say hi and see how everything was going. Totally appreciate that. If you haven't been to Applebee's in a bit, check out the Farmingdale location and get the salmon salad!“

“Vietnamese food was something that took a long time to get to Nassau County. I use to only get it when on business trips. Now I come here as often as I can. Every item on the menu is excellent. Beef Pho is so good! Atmosphere is nice and clean and the service are great too. I'm going again today!“

“The chef Francisco is a fine chef and his food tastes great. I have eaten here about 5xs already and he never disappoints. I highly recommend the tacos 🌮. I have also eaten the skirt steak which was delicious. He has a very nice presentation on all dishes. They also have fresh baked breads and the waitresses are all very nice and friendly. The dining area is nice and there is music playing and sometimes live entertainment. I want to try every dish on the menu. The restaurant has the potential to be a real gold mine because the food is definitely on point.“

“Have been coming here, sporadically, for past 20+ years. Same ladies serving for quite awhile. Hit or miss service, sometimes they are too chatty and ignore tables. Food is good if you are ordering basic diner fare; omelettes or sandwiches. The owner, a kind, older gentleman, tried his best to make us feel valued.

“🌸 Halston was Off the Hook this past Saturday night. Pauley greeted us with a smile and brought us over to The Big Beautiful Bar which was packed while our table was being prepared. The 3 Big TVs played 3 different sports games that held our attention along with conversing with the professional and friendly bartenders. Looking out into the main dining room was a sea of great steaks, varied drinks , appetizers and desserts. Individual festivities were all about. We started our night off with the wedge salad chopped that consisted of mouthwatering bacon bits & colorful small tomatoes. We also had the hummus as well. Speaking of being “Off the Hook” , our dinner choices for the night was around the Sushi selections- We had the night’s sushi special that was absolutely delicious and super fresh - it was by far the best sushi we have ever had anywhere. Along with that special we had the tuna tartare that was mixed with avocado and mango as well as the Halston Roll to round out our palate .. Leaving the best for last- our server Gina 💕was back from vacation and was a friendly face as always and helped make our dinner decisions very easy . We were surrounded by fun tables and The Halston was a buzz and definitely the place to be on a Saturday night . Great food Great People Beautiful place !!! Our Saturday night date night place for all the reasons above.“

“I was in town from Florida visiting cousins & they heard great things about this place, so we figured we would try it out! Well, it did NOT disappoint in every way! The decor and vibe is really cool with a beach/nautical theme. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted brussel sprouts & the Shepherd’s Pie was to die for! Our waitress, Nicole, was great and funny! The bartenders, Joe & Katie, made amazing & different cocktails and were so warm & attentive! They had a one man band singing who was really talented! We even met the owners who could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive making sure we were having a great time and we were happy with everything! “Last Wednesday I was at Davis vision works and we walk to the restaurant for lunch whem we get the we were standing up for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a table. finally whem someone come to us and without asking if we need a table rigth away he say is was 15 mint wait, me while the restaurant wasn't even packed it was a lot of table empty and even like that he was going to make us to wait more. really bad service and rude attention. we have money to pay it wasn't like we were asking for a free table. people are really racist at this place. “I just need to shout out Deli Zone b/c I've been coming here a few years and I always enjoy it. Everything is priced well, and the food is solid. Nothing fancy, just hearty and filling. I'm obsessed with their healthy breakfast wraps. My favorite is the Energy breakfast wrap. Just bomb. I stop in for breakfast and lunch often and usually order breakfast wraps and sandwiches. Service is always great...lovely ladies at the counter. Give them a shot!“

“I just had my wedding at the Heritage Club, and the day went perfectly. I met with Mindy when touring the venue, and she was very helpful in explaining all the details, and she remained hands-on throughout the whole process. Everything was set up beautifully, and the events progressed seamlessly. Guests told me that this wedding was the most "on time" and organized wedding they have ever attended. The maitre-d helped make sure everything was going according to plan, and he even made sure we were looking at the right cameras during various events. Janet, the bridal attendant, was also incredibly helpful beyond words. When my husband's button popped off his tuxedo jacket, she sewed it back on within seconds. When lipstick got on my teeth, she appears with a q-tip and some floss. She was always around to help carry my train or give me a glass of water (with a straw!).There was a moment when I was walking with my full train, but by the time I reached the end of a hall, Janet had magically bustled the dress without me even noticing. From a guest-experience perspective, the Heritage Club also went above and beyond. Everyone raved about how full they were from cocktail hour, but then were still amazed by the quality of the seated dinner and passed desserts. The venue itself is also beautiful, with each space having its distinct characteristics. The ballroom in the daylight is breathtaking and airy.“
