“Tonight I came in with my boyfriend after an especially trying day and our waitress Avery was kind and attentively took to our table with ease. During our meal another patron at the table behind us became distressed and it was clear he was choking. Before we could react a member of the staff named Juan RAN to his aid, immediately performing the heimlich maneuver which cleared the man's throat and brought him back to life. Juan should be commended for his bravery and quick thinking. Without Juan this man may not have made it home to his friends or family tonight.Good people still exist in the world, this is proof. Thank you Juan, Im sure he thanks you too ?“
“Easy to see located in the Tanger Mall in Deer Park. Red Lobster has redone there entire system. Clean facilities. Nice staff. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Something for all dietary needsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid FriendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“I recently visited Miller's Ale House and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. The selection of food exceeded my expectations, and the service was quick and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the filet mignon and burger, and the appetizers, especially the fry calamari, were delicious. I can't wait to come back for another lunch, and I'll definitely be recommending Miller's Ale House to my friends and family. The food here is truly good.Parking: It's a parking lot in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“
“I'd recommend everything on this menu. Every item is well prepared, tasty, and leaves you wanting more. The steaks are cooked to perfection every time. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Patrick is amazing. Always tends to every table to ensure guests are enjoying themselves. Definitely an area staple.“
“Zest is OUTSTANDING! The flavor combinations are so creative and wildly delicious. We drive from Kings Park for takeout. Can't lie, I'm thinking of my next Zest meal at all times ???Favorites: the meatballs, zucchini fritti pizza, taco supreme pizza, French onion soup, cauliflower chips, the burger, and the grilled cheese pretzel. The fries ROCK! ?“
“Always a special night at Grasso's. We've been coming since before the new owners. And it is better than ever. They serve a fresh baked roll with a hint of garlic when you sit down. For entrees, we have had the bone in veal chop twice, both times really large, and excellent. Previously parmigiano and last night with an incredible mushroom sauce, so good. We have had the zucchini linguini every time we dine here since we first tried it. It is all veggies, and all delicious. Ended with decaf coffee and decaf cappuccino, hot and impossible to distinguish from caffeinated coffee. I do not add milk to coffee if the restaurant does it right, which Grasso's always does. Served with biscotti I'm pretty sure came from a good bakery, not a package. Always live music, and where else can you find that on Long Island?“
“We LOVE this place. One of our favorite restaurants on the island. I've had several different meals (and stolen from my wife's plate) but I'm always drawn back to the chicken thighs and grits.Beer list is great for the discerning craft head. Always check if they have anything off list.“
“Today was my first time there, rom the wonderful, extensive menu, friendly waitress we had a delightful lunch. The owner, Peter couldn't have been nicer. I will certainly return.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating with a ramp inside to the lower level.“
“We tried brunch here for the first time because the menu looked good , and everything was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with nice pillows and comfortable seats. The menu for brunch had so many good options I changed my mind 3 times, but was talked into the Gruyère burger with an egg on it. It ended up being one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The fries were good too. Everyone was very happy with their meals . The drinks were good and the tres leches bread pudding was out of this world. Our waitress was amazing she was helpful and extremely nice.Overall we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back to try some other options on the menu.“
“Good food..you can get your classics fir breakfast and lunch or they offer some different dishes that are also very good. I had crispy eggplant with mozzarella, red peppers, on a roll which was very good..much to choose from, you won't leave hungry! Service also very good with pleasant workers..will be back!“
“Although they have food, I've yet to try it, as we usually only stop by on the way home for one last drink and/or coffee after BBQing on the beach. The service is always very personable, and my boyfriend absolutely loves this place; he talked about the Gilgo Inn all throughout the off-season when we first met before I finally got the chance to visit with him. They're cash only, but they have an ATM ($3 service fee). All the seating is outside, but there's a TV inside as well as framed photos of how the place used to look, including some shots of it submerged in water following a storm some years back. The coffee is good, and the drinks are alright and won't break the bank. I think the cocktails were around $10 apiece. There are proper bathrooms across the parking lot, too.“
“The food was delicious, everyone was very happy with what they got. The service was outstanding, the waitress was super friendly and accommodating as well as very attentive. Once the restaurant was filled to capacity the noise level was a bit high but not unbearable. Will definitely visit Cafe Red again.“
“We had my sister’s baby shower here over the weekend & we’re thrilled with how everything came out. The party room is very spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was amazing! The staff was super attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend considering Nosh for your next party event!!“
“I ordered superbowl catered food from Riley Fibbers in East Islip. The whole process was seamless. I placed my order earlier in the week, paid, and was asked what time I'd like to pick my order up. When I arrived to pick up my order they had a server in charge of all the to go orders and everything was ready and waiting. All trays, and containers were clearly labeled. The portions were great and all the food was delicious. I frequent this location often knowing the large range of drinks and beer on tap, the owners and employees are great and pleasant, and all their food including their specials are always delicious! Go check them out, there are 2 locations in East Islip and Selden.“
“We've been to the Lake House many times. The food is always good. Service was good. I thought prices were very high as compared to the portion size. I don't know if I will be returning any time soon and judging by the relatively empty dining room, maybe many others feel the same way.“
“Great little dinette for the locals and if you're passing thru u must stop and check it out. Only bkfst and lunch so get there early. Always busy any time I've been there as it is just the best whatever you get!!! Yum on the coffee too if that's all u need !!“
“We’ve been here a few times, and every time it’s really good. Tonight though i enjoyed it so much I wrote the review before we even paid the check. I am so pleased with the menu changes! I tried the eggs in the garden dish (pictured) for dinner and it was amazing, and at such great value. The basil hummus was a warm savory and went so well with the roasted tomatoes and the poached eggs. My brother adores the shed bowl and gets it every time, my dad loves their Cobb salad and the breakfast bowl. My mom particularly loves the atmosphere. Even the tea they carry was so good my mom is probably going to order some on her own ? Our waitress tonight was really lovely and patient as well and took good care of us. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!!Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant and it was awesome to have the eggs in the garden dish without having to take a lactaid and without having to take out the cheese!“
“In the charming village of Northport, NY, there's a place where the clock hands seem to spin a little slower, and the welcome is as warm as the soup. The Shipwreck Dinner is not just a local eatery. It's a time capsule that captures the essence of a bygone era, a place that cherishes the slow and steady rhythm of a close-knit community. From the moment you step inside, The Shipwreck Dinner envelops you in an ambiance that whispers of yesteryears -- a time when everyone knew your name and your favorite dish. The air is rich with the aroma of simmering soups, each batch lovingly prepared to perfection. As a soup aficionado myself, I can attest to the fact that their offerings are nothing short of amazing. The heart and soul of The Shipwreck Dinner is, without a doubt, owner Dennis and his dedicated staff. Dennis, with his ever-present smile and genuine affection for his clientele, sets the tone for the establishment. He's more than just an owner. He's the captain of a ship where every passenger is treated like family. His passion for the restaurant and the people it serves is evident in every interaction, fostering an atmosphere that's as comforting as the food. The staff's commitment to their work is palpable -- they move with a purpose and a joy that can only come from people who truly love what they do. Their approach to service is personal, attentive, and imbued with the kind of care that can only be found in a place where employees are there because they choose to be, not just because they have to be. The Shipwreck Dinner is a treasure of Northport, a reminder of the times when meals were savored, conversations lingered, and the community was at the heart of every business. It's a place where you can shake off the cold rush of the modern world and bask in the warmth of good food and even better company. For anyone searching for a meal that satisfies the stomach and the soul, The Shipwreck Dinner is the perfect port of call. It's a restaurant that proves that some places can withstand the tides of time, offering a harbor of delicious nostalgia to anyone who walks through its welcoming doors.“
“Great food, great service and cozy atmosphere!!! Love that place! We had such a nice evening with friends! Music is not too loud so you have have. Lovely conversation with your guests. Food is fresh and delicious. And also my Allagash White beer came nice and cold in a frosty glass! We'll be back again soon!“
“My 2nd time at this amazing establishment. The service was excellent just like the first time. I enjoyed an espresso flight that was so good!!! My husband enjoyed all his food and he's a hard sell. Only good things to expect from Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails!“
“We ALWAYS LOVE dining at RCD. The ambiance is awesome. The food flavors are masterfully paired. The service is friendly.I get the strawberry fields salad with chicken. My husband got The Who; I wanted to eat his too lol! The Truffle fries are everything good and more. The owner is pleasant. She has a passion for RCD and it shows. I enjoy our conversations.I continue to bring new guests and all leave happy and well-fed.You will love this place. I do!!!“
“Had a wonderful lunch on 3/6. I thoroughly enjoyed my Cobb salad and the portion was enough for me to devour the next day. My friend loved her Buddha bowl and texted me "Yum" today. Our server was April who was smiling, sweet, knowledgeable, patient, friendly. We never felt rushed. Looking forward to returning and hoping for April to wait on us“
“Came in on a tuesday night. Had a friend in town for a few nights so we got together for dinner and drinks . Riptides did not disappoint in any aspects . We were welcomed and felt a cool vibe immediately. Drinks were on point and food was better then expected. Keep up the good work and we'll see you real soon again“
“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I came here for brunch today and the food was out of this world. This is some of the best brunch I’ve had in a long time specifically the fajita skillet and French toast bites. I go around to many different places to try food and this was my first time here and I can tell you I will most definitely be back. Service was also excellent and owners are the nicest! I don’t write reviews too often so please check them out !“
“Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. full bar full menu even longer on like Friday and Saturday or something like that. Sunday might be like an early night I think. But nobody's open like they are. There's a crowd. There's ladies this dudes I mean I guess if that's what you're into hahaha lol. Great “
“Had planned my birthday celebration here and spoke to Steven (the owner) throughout the whole planning process and it was all seamless! He is responsive and extremely helpful. The staff were all extremely nice and personable. My sister has a GF/DF allergy and Steven was able to quickly adjust the menu for her and I sincerely appreciated that.It was a night I will never forget. Thank you Steven and all of Tullulahs staff!!!!!“
“Gem of a place. Clean establishment. Friendly staff. Excellent wings. I had the Buffalo Wings Medium. Lightly crispy, moist inside, balanced sauce. Take your son or just go hangout with Bartender Mike on a Sunday afternoon and let Mr. Bobby cook you up some delicious wings! Cool people.“
“Me and my partner went to this fine restaurant for our dinner this evening and we put expectations we're very much exceeded. Our server was Alyssa and she was awesome even though she was super busy she was able to be there whenever we needed her. We will definitely be back her soon, knowing that we feel welcomed with amazing service and great meals.“
“We hadn't been to Palmers in a while so it was our first time back in over a year. The food and waitress were excellent. A lot of people working hard. The only negatives were it got very noisy around 7:00 on Saturday and the one young hostess was not very personable. She didn't greet us when we came in at all.“
“We attended Nya and Ned immersive dinner. There was 7 of us. Everyone raved about the food. It was delicious. It was such a cool experience and I love that they have so many fun events at 317. I HAVE to give a huge shout out to Josephina! She made this event possible [our original dinner was canceled] She added an extra night for us because it was my birthday. The candle at the end was a nice bonus! Thank you Josephina! Can't wait to go back for another event.“
“What a find! When a little snow scares off lesser cafes from opening, Hometown pulls up the slack. Old school rugged mindsets and hearty meals for more than reasonable prices.I'm glad my usual breakfast stop was closed, Hometown is my new favorite!Eggs bacon toast and coffee done right. Came out fast after ordering. You cant go wrong.Fabulous service. I noted everyone knew customers names as they entered. That is a great sign. It was like being at an aunts home or at Grandma's.Cozy place with a fireplace going too!Forget the diners, hometown is the perfect stop.“
“This has been my beach for 58 years. I've seen the beach grow. I've seen the beach shrink. I've seen play items. Come and go. It's a great beach. It's protected by the Robert Moses sand bar. The food is good and fairly priced for being at a beach. They've added a bar area and it looks good. I'm not a drinker so I wouldn't know. The best thing they've added is closed showers. You can wash off and more showers outside to rinse feet. I love the upstairs area when I go in the winter it's protected, but you still get to enjoy the beach.“
“Best breakfast place on Long Island! Excellent food, ambience, wait staff and value. Amazing selection of classic, as well as unique, menu choices. Attentive and friendly staff. Last Sunday morning we enjoyed live music by an excellent guitarist as we feasted on yet another delicious meal. Neil was great with his indomitable joyous demeanor as he brings you your meal along with his signature "Tada!" (and his rendition of "Happy Birthday" is also quite good!).“
“My Wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe, Melissa was our coordinator and she was flawless with the planning, she had answers to all of our questions and understood our budget limitations, adapted to our one off requests and ensured us a great time. The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. The food was delicious and the space was great to fit our large party. We will absolutely be booking with them again for a future event.“
“I went here with some friends and it was a cozy, welcoming vibe. Fine beer selection. I went for the cubano sandwich and it hit the my palate full scale. Excellent blend of flavors, the shoe string fries were a cute touch. My friend ordered the Pierogi’s and it’s a classic choice. I recommend going here for the friendly staff and lovely food.“
“Food Nation Generation catered my party and they were great! Graham was so nice and easy to work with and my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Everything from presentation to taste was spot on! We can’t wait to invite them back to cater our next event. Keep up the great work!!!“
“I was invited here for a dinner by our Boss who is also an Honourable member of this club. This is place is truly beautiful. Nice water-view! Inside of the place is even more beautiful! Nicely decorated and very Private place! The food was delicious! I’ve tried their fried Calamari and crab cake. One of the best appetizers I’ve ever had! Their Grilled Salmon for the entrées is out of the world! Highly recommended place for dinner! If you know someone who’s the member of this club, try this place out! You won’t regret!“
“We moved to Northport 3 years ago and Main Street Cafe quickly became our favorite restaurant, not just because the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly, but the customers are delightful! Everyone is in a great mood. The prices are reasonable. Trivia contest on Tuesday nights are a lot of fun.“
“One of our favorite restaurants and it never disappoints. We had a charcuterie board as an appetizer. Nice choices of meats and cheeses and more than enough for 2. Our entrees were a steak sandwich and mahi mahi tacos and both were terrific. I am sure we will be back again soon“
“The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“
“we had an incredibly romantic valentine's day at whalers. delicious cocktails, perfect food, beautiful setting. we were so happy we brought our parents back the following week and had another positively exquisite dining experience. thank you, whalers!“
“ive never been here but im pretty sure there is a goonies type situtation going on in the basement that leads to secret caves and eventually a pirate ship filled with gold that gets released into the LI sound. then maybe my family will take me back“
“Excellent service, drinks and meal! The good Life Burger was amazing!! The fish and chips were plentiful and the batter dip chicken with the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were scrumptious!! My martini was perfect with blue cheese stuffed olives!! I highly recommend The Good Life!!“
“We had an awesome server. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had 2 appetizers, the mushroom flatbread and burata. Our dinners were awesome also. So many nice things to say. They were both filling and delicious. We had an enjoyable evening and will gladly come back.“
“Very nice place service is always good . I've been there around 6 times and the sushi is great . The ambiance is great , it can be low key at one point then very happening the next . I recommend the aji king and American dream roll they are delicious . My wife usually Gets the hand rolls and she loves them as well , lots of flavor in all. I will continue to go to Aji 53 .“
“Perfect place to go to on any day, although the game atmosphere on the weekends is a party; crowded but not overcrowded and everyone is friendly. During the week it is quieter and easy to get a table. The servers know their jobs well and are attentive when you need it without overdoing it.The menu has a different selection from what I expected. There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. Pricing is average unless you are a big drinker; if you are drinking, there are a huge variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. There are about 50 live streaming tv's on every wall, including on the outside wall if you prefer to eat outdoors.Great place to go to with friends and family. Changing Times Pub has to be tried out!Parking: There are parking spaces all along the front and back of Changing Times, but there is also a large lot right next to the small group of connected stores that this pub is a part of.“
“Tricia's cafe is filled with a 50's museum like decor. Small but quaint, the food is absolutely delicious. Fresh made food, homey vibes, the servers treat you like you are part of the family. A small spot with plenty of flavor, love and good vibes. Definitely will be stopping by again next time I visit Robert Moses beach.P.S. Best steak quesadilla I have ever tried!“
“Came here with a few friends on a Friday night as I heard it has a new owner. It’s a smaller place but is welcoming and nicely decorated. There were a bunch of other people there but the vibe was drinks with friends rather than loud/rowdy as some sports bars can get.Drinks and service were great! They have an impressive beer selection. We had the BBQ wings, red flatbread (which is actually a circular pizza and not a small rectangle as I’ve seen at other places), steak Gorgonzola Mac and chicken tenders. Everything was cooked really well and delicious! Gorgonzola and steak was a nice combo with the Mac and cheese. Chicken tenders were crunchy and very tender, clearly not something that was bought premade and frozen. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items and look forward to using their patio area in the warmer weather!Parking: They have a lot alongside the building, and plenty of street parking“
“easy quick casual panini place. got the piccante and it was *chef’s kiss. excellent combo. definitely satisfied my sandwich craving :)there are a few seats available but definitely not a sit-down kind of place. just a reliable place to get a solid sandwich“
“This venue was the perfect size for the type of event we attended. Power 787 radio 2nd annual winter party. Plenty of attentive staff and security. The bar service was fast and friendly. The ambience clean, neat and comfortable. The sound system was amazing and high quality with great full range italian FBT powder byamped speaker system. It sounded amazing everywhere in this venue. We will definitely recommend to friends and family to hold private and public events here ?Parking: Plenty of parking“
