“Came to N.Y. for visit, from Texas & Georgia, but originally from here. My brother & I were staying across the street at the Raddison hotel. We walked in, were greeted immediately, with a pleasant hello! Seated right away! Our server, Valerie, greeted us with her sweet personality. She was very kind and courteous, and had great customer service! I have a nut allergy, I brought to her attention. She made sure to thoroughly check with the cook, to be sure the new menu item, I was ordering, did not contain any nuts! I ordered the Bayou Shrimp bowl, which was delicious I might add, with this amazing side sauce for the shrimp, that I couldn’t get enough of! Valerie immediately let me know that it was safe to consume which I greatly appreciated. My brother had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli, which was also delicious! The manager, Carol, also stopped by our table, to be sure all was going well, very pleasant. I was in the service industry, waitressing/bartending, for many years, so when I go into an establishment, and I get excellent customer service and delicious food, I love to brag about it! I’m quite critical how I’m being served, and Valerie, Did Not disappoint! She was exceptional. She deserves more than 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Vietnamese food was something that took a long time to get to Nassau County. I use to only get it when on business trips. Now I come here as often as I can. Every item on the menu is excellent. “A companion and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. We arrived at eleven in the morning, not realizing that the restaurant opens at eleven. A gentleman, who I assume was a manager, quickly seated my companion and I at a table near the door. During our visit a few more parties arrived (mostly older/retirees) and they were also seated in our section.

My companion and I both ordered from the $10 lunch menu. I ordered the shrimp salad and they ordered pasta w/ soup on the side. All entrees on the lunch deal menu come with a free beverage.

For ten bucks, the salad was surprisingly hearty. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. The lettuce was crisp, the shrimp were flavorful (possibly too much seasoning), and the other ingredients (guac, rice, salsa, lettuce, etc) seemed to be of good quality.

Our waitress was attentive and offered refills when our drinks ran low.“

“🌸 Halston was Off the Hook this past Saturday night. Pauley greeted us with a smile and brought us over to The Big Beautiful Bar which was packed while our table was being prepared. The 3 Big TVs played 3 different sports games that held our attention along with conversing with the professional and friendly bartenders. Looking out into the main dining room was a sea of great steaks, varied drinks , appetizers and desserts. Individual festivities were all about. We started our night off with the wedge salad chopped that consisted of mouthwatering bacon bits & colorful small tomatoes. We also had the hummus as well. Speaking of being “Off the Hook” , our dinner choices for the night was around the Sushi selections- We had the night’s sushi special that was absolutely delicious and super fresh - it was by far the best sushi we have ever had anywhere. Along with that special we had the tuna tartare that was mixed with avocado and mango as well as the Halston Roll to round out our palate .. Leaving the best for last- our server Gina 💕was back from vacation and was a friendly face as always and helped make our dinner decisions very easy . We were surrounded by fun tables and The Halston was a buzz and definitely the place to be on a Saturday night . Great food Great People Beautiful place !!! The decor and vibe is really cool with a beach/nautical theme. The food and drinks were delicious! The roasted brussel sprouts & the Shepherd’s Pie was to die for! Our waitress, Nicole, was great and funny! The bartenders, Joe & Katie, made amazing & different cocktails and were so warm & attentive! They had a one man band singing who was really talented!
