“Everything here was a 10/10. Food was delicious. Service was super kind and super patient. Had planned a dinner with a friend for 630 but due to a mix up my guest arrived over an hour late. The staff members were super understanding and accommodating. I didn’t feel rushed at any point. Ordered the beef nachos as an appetizer and I could not stop myself from destroying 95% of the plate while waiting for my late party. Also got the Poor Man’s Beef Steak, everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. M&M milkshake is absolutely addicting. Their empanadas are to die for. I also adored the atmosphere. So kids friendly and just an overall great time. I cannot wait to return and I will definitely be suggesting this place to everyone in the future.“
“Food is good and very reasonably priced, we got a little bit of everything to try out. The best was the kofta and the falafels. The sauces are yummy too. Everything was ready by the time we arrived for pick up. Inside is pretty basic, clean and well kept but deff more of a take out spot. Give it a try when you're indecisive about what to have for dinner because there's a little bit of everything on the menu!“
“Really loved the food besides the lamb smelled a bit not strong. But we totally enjoyed it. I would recommend people to actually come to this location specifically and eat it. Because I had food from shah’s at queens location and that didn’t seem this tasty. The only problem I faced was with this hispanic server lady in this location who was hesitant to give us food. She was only putting less than half tablespoon of each item we were asking to give us for the platter. So we asked her to give more quantity. Later she said to me she should charge us more because we asked for one spoon of the food item. Otherwise, the man with the beard he was very good with his service that’s why I am giving three stars for him. He heated up the kofta we asked for. He properly served us the food. I think he is the manager and I wish him luck. I hope to see more people visiting this location for the amazing food.“

“You have to make reservations if you want to come to the restaurant. I wasn't expecting that the restaurant would be really small so I think it would be great for small parties with friends or family. The food I would say is kinda good and some of the foods we ordered was a miss. Personally I didn't enjoy the pasta that much but my friend really enjoyed it. We all really liked the empanadas (hard to find halal ones ;-;). I was not a fan of the rice and chicken because it was very dry. Maybe it is meant to be like that but I didn't like it being thag dry or at least offer some sauce. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was also really good. The owner was really nice and easy to talk to making the experience more nice and enjoyable. We also got to meet his wife who was also super sweet.“

“Edit: after the management change their portion size has been much better and consistent almost all the times. The cashier guy is super friendly and welcoming.4 years agoI like their food and customer service but their portions of food are very little while the price is higher than other gyro places on the same street. Never going there anymore. Not worth for the money I am paying for. And not to forget the extra money they charge if you pay by cards. While other places are making it more convenient for people to use cards, here they are charging people extra for using cards. I'm very disappointed.“
“Excellent food, outstanding service! The crazy kebab is way beyond the hype you can eat at 100 different halal spot on Long Island and won't find anything like it. Everything else on the menu is phenomenal and you can tell it's made with love. The service is great, if you decide to stay and eat there they never stop tending to you. Every time I've gotten take out has been amazing as well. I would highly recommend this place.“

“The portions were very good for the price, and the owner even added some extra food to my plate. The service was also very fast. I didn't shop there for anything else, but I did see that they have a selection of Lebanese/Mediterranean groceries. I don't recall seeing a place to sit down to eat, but I might just be misremembering, since I got takeout.“
“I got takeout for my family on a friday and the food was amazing. I went to pick it up, and there wasn’t a crowd. I don’t think there were any customers at all which was surprising for me. The charsi goat karahi wasnt that good honestly but Im really used to home cooked food so that might be a big reason. The tikka boti, malai boti, seekh kababs were amazing. I think it would taste even better if I had eaten in and ate it fresh. They didnt have many sweets options at the time, only kheer which was a disappointment but overall I will definitely be having it again.Dietary restrictions: Halal food“
“Khyber Grill was closed for a bit. But they're open again and the food was absolutely outrageous. Everything was delicious and perfectly spicy. Feels very homemade. “Can someone please tell me why the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had was in a gas station in Commack?I'm from Toronto and we have large population of Persians, Arabs and Middle Easterners and I've had just about every kind of food they offer.The Kofta Kebab was absolutely delicious, the chicken platter was second to absolutely no one.Hands down some of the best food I've experienced period. 10/10, I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Long Island“
“It's in a gas station so the atmosphere is... Well there is none. You can go inside and order and sit down at the few tables and eat if you want. The woman at the counter is so nice and the food is delicious. We have had the gyro both times eating there but the menu shows many other options that look great to us. I'd love to go back and order something different next time.Parking: There are a few spots in the gas station parking lot right up against the mini Mart building.“
“The Halal Guys is a place that I first visited in the city at one of their street carts.I was amazed by their efficiency and popularity. As there were usually lines 5 people or more. Service was still very quick and there was another one of the Halal Guys cart across the street.The Halal guys make a more refined and unique type of food. With their signature white sauce and extra spicy hot sauce.The spiced Beef (not lamb) and chicken is also more flavorful than others too.They offer small and regular sized platters where the small is a typical halal sized platter and regular can be eaten in 2 servings especially if extra meat is ordered.The brick and mortar locations on Long Island are more expensive than the cart. But that is to be expected. There is parking, dinning room, bathroom, and more food and drink options to choose from.We love that there is a Halal Guys close to home and prefer them over other halal options in the area.“

The salad is very delicious too, a nice blend of romaine and red cabbage, not your average iceberg lettuce. White sauce completes it. We waited for about 7 minutes. The employees were friendly and efficient. The place looked clean. They were generous with their sauces and packaging was done well. The prices were a little less than my recent experience at fast food places. Overall everything was as expected and good. No complaints, I would visit again.“
