“I have been patronizing this store since they opened. First of all they have the most amazing one-of-a-kind everything bagel twists with sesame, poppy and salt…delicious! Then, the store is the cleanest I’ve seen…everything is fresh and perfectly presented. They make the best sandwiches, and the service is prompt and courteous…they’re polite, fast and efficient. I definitely recommend Lotsa.“

“I am in town for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and breakfast at about 11 am on a Saturday. I was originally going to pick up food to head back over to the airbnb but ended up staying while I ate a chicken empanada, an Everything Flagel (flat bagel) with lox cream cheese, and a cup of coffee. As I ate, a lot of people came and went and seemed to know the place really well. It appears to be a family business and the customer service is friendly and efficient. The parking is plentiful and convenient, and the place is clean with a great assortment of fresh bagels. The coffee is fresh and average tasting. I was amazed at how many people ordered ordered bagels with the inside fluff scooped out, which I have been doing forever. This is why I was so happy to discover the Flagel which I asked them to scoop out anyway, but there was less to scoop out because it is already flat. I'm interested only in the crispy part, not the soft bready part inside. The empanada was great. They have chicken and beef. If you buy 6 of them, then the 7th one is free. The dessert/sweets assortment varied from things that looked homemade to packaged cookies to muffins from Costco. To go, I bought 2 more garlic bagels with lox and regular cream cheese, a bagel with some homemade chicken salad, a beef and a chicken empanada, plus a black-and-white cookie (which was fresh and delicious even though it was prepackaged.) This place is great, and I wish there was one like this where I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The only negative thing I have to say about Bethpage Bagels is that I wish that they would accept some form of payment other than only cash. Even if it were Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal, any other option would be an easier and more sanitary way to pay for food. I don't like seeing people in a food establishment handling dirty coins and bills if they are also putting food into bags and containers. That's the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5-star rating. If this were not a cash only establishment, I would've purchased 7 empanadas to go, instead of only 2!“

“Fantastic catering. This was our 3rd time catering heros and first catering hot food. Was a little nervous getting Italian trays for just a deli… but man did they not disappoint!!! Tim and I think Heidi/Letia helped me out. Amazing order combo and food. Everything was delicious all the guests loved the food and my coworkers were even talking about the eggplant parm still on Monday at work. Tim really took good care of me and made sure everything was accurate and ready and prepared“

Bagelville is spacious, and there's always room to sit down and read the paper with your bagel and a coffee; that is if you're old school like that. The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. My guys at Bagelville want to make sure you get what you came for, and leave with a smile. I recently brought both of my children with me, and it was refreshing the way they interacted with the staff. Overall, if you're in the area, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. “The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

“My brother and I were craving a real bagel so we set out to try finding a nice place and grab a half dozen. He remembered “ Poppy’s bagels”. The staff were very nice and attentive. It’s a nice cozy place and well cared for. Clean and we definitely will be new customers of theirs. The bagels were delicious and fresh, even stopping at 1:30 in the afternoon. I was very impressed. “I’ve been too many bagel places, and my obsession is definitely Bagels and Bialys, this spot is amazing. There are numerous Bagel spots and I have been so many of them. They absolutely do not live up to this place. I used to live in Queens and I moved to Suffolk County and I could not find a Bagel spot. Now I come here on my commute, and it is absolutely worth coming off of the Long Island expressway, and driving around to get a bagel here. The Bagels come straight of the oven and you can see them being made. They have a crispy crunch on the outside and sre soft and chewy on the inside, and I have tried about every flavor of bagel, and every single one is excellent. Please drive by the chain stores and come straight here. You will not regret it.“

I love coming here because it is local and they have a GREAT selection of cream cheeses. They by FAR have the BEST pumpkin cream cheese in the area. As we all know, the bagel places around Bellmore and Merrick close around 2-3pm, and when I saw Bagel Chalet were still opened, I decided to come here! Glad I did too!
