Restaurants near North Massapequa

“I’ve been coming here for years and if you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere for dinner or to watch your favorite team, Sal’s Place is the place to go. There is a separated dining area so you’re not just crammed by the bar. No pool table, no fights, no hassles. Food is good with a large variety of options plus specials. The staff busts their asses to make sure your needs are cared for. If you’ve never been here, give it try and I promise you it won’t be the last time you’re there.”

“Very nice people great raviolis.”

“Best pizza in town. Love their buffalo blue salad too!”

“Fresh meats. Special considerations with cold cuts. Especially cheese and thinly sliced meats. When buying cold cuts, there’s nothing worst then having a clump of meat to peel apart. It does take a few minutes to assure the meats are separated and using additional sheets of paper, but this is the difference in keeping or losing a customer. A true Italian Salumeria understands this and takes the pride in what and how their foods are delivered. Thank you.”

“We just used Broadway Gourmet to cater a party for us. Sydney did such an unbelievable set up at our home for a small gathering. Her attention to detail and hard work was so unbelievably impressive. The spread looked beautiful and the food was awesome. Highly recommend! Thank you, Sydney!!”

“Always great ice cream and ices, the girls are friendly and welcoming. Best there is.”

“Great neighborhood bar. Been going there for years, the entire staff are genuinely good people. Highly recommended.”

“We order from here at least once per week, the food is great! They are also usually very quick. I took off one star because to order delivery cost at least $11 (delivery charge, “service fee,” credit card fee, and driver tip) which is outrageous for a $30 order.”

“Amazing bagels and excellent on everything else. I have moved to FL and never buy bagels. I come to NY and never leave without taking a couple dozen bagels. Excellent customer service. #1 in my book.”

“excellent as always! the new design of the restaurant looks beautiful. staff is always very pleasant and prices are very reasonable. Portions are always enough, sometimes to much!”

“The staff and the food was amazing! My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. The host Mia and Elena was delightful and our server Minerva was gracious and accommodating. The manager Michael then gave us the birthday special which was the song and celebration along with a comped meal for me (with ID). Amazing!”

“Nice service as well as great food!”

“pass it every night on my way home from work. and decided to meet a friend there sat night. my parents come from Italy and I spent all my summers there as a kid. it is the closes I have ever had to pizza in Italy, my only very small complain is. I wish maybe a few more choices for apps.”

“I love this place. I wish I could frequent it more often but i moved out of that part of the island.”

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.”

“OUR WAITRESS DAYANA WAS THE WORST ALLTHE MONEY WE SPENT. HOW DARE SHE TREAT ME BAD. HER ATTITUDE WAS HORRIBLE SHE GOT THE WRONG ORDER BUT I EAT IT ANY WAY. TOO SLOW ON GETTING THE UTENSILS. I HAD TO ASK 5 TIMES. GETTING THE SAUCE FOR MY MEAL. LYING TO MY FACE THAT I ORDERED THW WRONG MEAL. IF THATS THE WAITRESS WHO HAVE WE SHALL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND SPEND THE MONEY WE SPEND.”

“We celebrated my son’s 21st birthday yesterday and really enjoyed this hibachi experience! Ted and team were professional, friendly and provided a great entertainment to all! Thank you so much from our family!🎈🎊🎉”

“Was just there Friday night for the first time, visiting from Saratoga Lake. They had a great menu, delicious food, and the staff were incredible. I think the woman talking to my friends who had a newborn baby may have been Flora.. Never asked. :) You're going to have a great time here, and try the Limoncello!”

“The owner greeted us right away and told us to take our time reading over the menu. The dining area was very clean and stylish, very relaxing atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious and nice size portions, would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back soon.”
