Heritage Hill NORTH is a hidden gem of a brewery in North Syracuse. The beers are phenomenal, including a flight with a coconut ipa that has a nice rich texture, a crustable beer that is SO good, a lemon blueberry cheesecake sour with a bite of cheesecake at the end, and a barley wine called farmers cellar that is brewed so well. The food combination is hands-down the best, with a flat hog with extra Gouda where the cheese was just oozing off it, and a Housemade blue cheese. The menu is a simple selection of flatbreads and appetizers, and the kitchen does a good job on it. The bar often seems understaffed, but the bartenders are fantastic, welcoming, and completely on point. For mixed drinks, the Blueberry Lemon Mule with Brothers Cut Bourbon is a great summertime beverage. The dining area is small with an intimate feel, bay lighting, and outdoor options on nice days. It is a pleasant place for a drink and light meal, with friendly staff and quick food service.
