Place is clean (including bathrooms), great service and very reasonable prices. Look forward to coming back over the bridge just to eat there again.”

“My boyfriend and I have passed this cute restaurant many times, but yesterday was our first experience eating there. We came on a Sunday for a late brunch and there was lively gospel music playing and also a live guitarist. The atmosphere is homey, comfortable and inviting. We went in blind and ordered the fried chicken dinner and the BBQ dinners with potato salad and greens. We also ordered a side of mac & cheese. The house provides biscuits and muffins drizzle in honey and syrup. These were served warm and they were delicious! The dinners we had were absolutely phenomenal! 10 out o 10. The portions were also very generous. We were moved by the food and could tell that they were prepared thoughtfully with love and care. Everything was beautifully seasoned and flavorful. This place is a hidden gem and can easily compete with some of the heavy-hitter soul food restaurants in Harlem like Melba's. Melba's is one of our favorites, but My Father's House is on par or surpasses Melba's in certain respects. We were delighted to meet the chef and owner of My Father's House named Adrian. She was absolutely delightful and greeted us so warmly. I learned that she is a preacher and a teacher and has opened up the restaurant in honor of her late father. You can feel the love and sincerity in this establishment. We will definitely be back and inviting others and recommending it to others! We also sat next to a beautiful Asian family who was dining there for the first time along with us and they also said they absolutely loved the food. 10/10! Can't wait to go back!”

“My husband and I had another terrific meal at Broadway Bistro last evening.
We ordered from the special prix fixe menu that had so many great choices, it was hard to choose.
We settled on the scallops over polenta and the spring rolls with teryaki to start, and the panko horseradish flounder and grilled shrimp salad. Desert was the poached pear with raspberry sorbet.
Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The wait staff is friendly and extremely efficient, and just make dining there such a terrific experience!”

“Great Korean food and sushi. Soonduboo was tasty and balanced, spicy pork bibimbap was generous and perfectly crispy on the bottom, eel and avocado sushi was tasty, and the agadashi tofu was delightful. Owner was a bit busy but very nice. Great evening.”

“We ordered online before the restaurant opened. Our order was due to be done by 330pm (only 30 minutes after they opened) we arrived around 340pm and our order was ready. We ordered Tassot Cabrit-Fried Goat with black rice with fried plantains, Oxtails, black rice, cabbage with sweet plantains, an order of Mac and Cheese and an order of Fried Okra. EVERYTHING was amazing. Great flavor, just enough spice and the portion size was good. My son is picky with food and he really liked the mac and cheese. Even though we ordered to take out we decided to stay and eat. They had no issues with that. Services was on point and they played great music. We were there during the day but it is a lounge and would be fitting for other types of events. Overall 5/5 for us. We will return to try other menu items. The food smelled and looked so good we forgot to take pictures. Overall very delicious Caribbean food.”

“My good friend and myself stumbled into Dolce Vita not too long ago when it was the only restaurant in Nyack that was opened very late. We struck gold. We have been back several times and the food, the service, the owner, the atmosphere are the very best . All are wonderful.”

“I've only eaten there once, but I can see myself visiting again. Service was very good, and friendly. The "Alvin" Grilled Chicken Sandwich was tasty, though the Chicken was a bit chewy. The French Fries were very good. The menu looks very ambitious, and I look forward to trying their other offerings. The bathrooms are tiny, but clean! It's a safe bet that you'll get an enjoyable meal at Strawberry Place.”

“We stopped here while traveling from RI to PA and WOW are we glad we did. We needed a place to accommodate our small pup so we stopped to ask if they had outdoor seating. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! Nick was such a fantastic host - setting us up, providing exceptional service and great conversation! I also can’t forget to mention how incredible the pizza and chicken roll were! This place is a 10/10 and we will definitely find a reason to stop back again!”

“Tasting these 1" envelop looking delecetable homemade pastas, (and I search for homemade pasta), EVER! Perfectly cooked, amazingly stuffed with polenta, fontina cheese and exquisitely paired with beautiful mushrooms, in a unique butter sauce...my NY line, "To die for..."”

“Great sushi and we order all the time from here! Shrimp tempura is excellent and they have so many options to fit everyone’s preferences. One thing I would like to note is that sometimes when you order for pickup they do forget things (ex. spicy mayo, which you have to pay extra for) so make sure you check the bag to ensure you have all of your order, but they are also very busy and things like this happen :) Great food and great service, looking forward to coming back.”

They employ students with special needs to help with the baking which is wonderful. They also have pop up events in and around Rockland and Bergen.”

“This place is a hidden gem/slice of heaven. The pastries are made fresh daily and are light and really perfectly balanced. They come with great flavors that you don't commonly find like cardamom. It was very hard to decide but I went with a pistachio option for pastry/doughnut. I also ordered a cappuccino and added one of their cafe-made flavors: s'mores. They offer others but this was especially good and again, not overly sweet. They really got it right. Dean and Co are very friendly & courteous. If you're close by, make this a part of your morning routine!

Their food is delish! Keeping it simple, THEY KNOW ME BY FACE AND ASK HOW MY KIDS ARE DOING! Lol.Their food is the best in Nyack! THE BEST!!!I’ve tried them all. Nothing even comes close until you reach Spring Valley, but who’s got time for that commute?Trust me, you found your spot right here! Just as good as the city. Yup. I said it! ☺️”

“First time visiting here today, and I really enjoyed it! The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and informative of their menu items. I placed a takeout order (breakfast wrap) and it was very good. I also brought home two containers of bone broth and it is excellent. I always look for a healthy option when I am traveling or eating out, and I like supporting small businesses like this one. I wish I lived closer; I would be here all the time!”
