“Such a great find! We were leaf peeping and looked for Indian food since it was Diwali and this place did not disappoint.. Staff is accommodating.. and food was good.. we tried Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Vindaloo.. their garlic Naan is definitely recommended as well! would definitely come back! (we were so excited to try the food and forgot to take pictures before eating ???)“

“SO good. Different than the "standard". Very FRESH! Absolutely loved it. Dined in. They were busy the night were there but we were NOT rushed. Wonderful dining experience. Have already recommended to so many friends. Hope they are around for a long time. Also, the bar was fully open when we went on Nov. 1, 2024. Great drink options, too.“

“There are many vegetarian-friendly options here. The Himalayan and Indian spice flavors are interesting and engaging, without heat overwhelming the actual flavor of the dishes. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, and the guitarist who plays Sunday evenings is talented, with calming music.“

“Went for lunch on a random Monday and had the prefix menu, which was absolutely exquisite. Fresh flavors, great portions, everything and I mean everything was just exquisite. I must stop if you find yourself in Irvington, and order a couple times a week if you’re fortunate enough to live there! This place is that good.“

“Love this place, I come here for the buffet, they always have good options. I love their Curry Goat, Chicken Masala, Chicken Tandoori, their starches and vegetarian options. There is always something new for me to try at Sitar, service is great and their naan is amazing, also their mango lassi. We love this place, my mom loves this place and all my friends love this place.“

“My go to Uber Eats Indian place for chicken tikka masala and garlic naan! Their garlic naans I get them extra buttery and it is so savory and crispy and soft all at the same time. Their chicken tikka masala is probably one of my top 5 favs. Very delicious!“

“A bit strange place, but I liked the food.
Goat curry is must try, really liked the flavor (wish it was more spicy hot though). Garlic naan is very nice.
Didn't like samosas - over-browned and lack of flavor.
I'll definitely give it another try.“
