“Just came here for the first time. Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and Guac and Chips $35 total. The Burrito was spectacular and so were the guac and chips! The atmosphere was very authentic. I felt like I was in a Mexican colmadon (deli). I loved the vibe. I walked from home. So this will be a local favorite of mine. Thank you.“

“So happy I decided not to go home and cook. I live close by and wanted to try this restaurant for so long. I finally did it. I had the tortilla soup and the flautas. And of course chips with salsa and guacamole. Everything was delicious! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Ambiance is very nice and the music… I was singing and dancing waiting for my food. “Best tacos ever . I’ve been a client since the Sombrero truck on Market St in between Checkers and post office . Then they moved to union blvd . I’ve taken my immediate family ,taken friends , when my outer states visitors come is the first place they get taken to also!! The food was fantastic as always, our server, Rafael treated us like royalty, the margaritas with sugar rims were fabulous (added plus we arrived for happy hour), and the entertainment was so much fun! “Dropped by during our long bike ride to grab some burritos. We did not see them on the online menu but we called in advance to order for pickup and asked if they had them, they said yes of course. They were very nice to us and it was nice on such a rainy day to grab some delicious warm food and sit down inside to warm up. The tortillas they made the burritos from were nice and flaky, there was a good amount of steak in our steak burritos and they were served with a generous amount of rice and beans (also delicious). The sauces were all on point as well. The staff was very nice.“

Spanish-language talk shows or telenovelas on a 50" screen blare their Central- and South-American equivalents of nonsense TV. It all makes for a perfect combination of a good lunch somewhere.The food is top notch, with the chips/salsa plentiful. Want guac? It's homemade and, if I recall, $8 for a ton of it. Their plates will overwhelm you, again, for a reasonable price. Plus, seasonings are spot on.You have to go there. Tip well. I know I will again after a luncheon there once upon a random time.“

“Me and my bf love this place! We come every month! It's beautifully decorated, the food tastes very good, the drinks are great - especially passion margarita with the bottle of prosecco. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is our favorite place to go to. We've taken our friends and family here and they all love it too. Their tres leche is the best I've tasted! On friday nights, a mariachi band plays at the restaurant and they are very good too. I definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“

“There were two other locations. The one in north Yonkers unfortunately closed but the Riverdale site (and this one) are still going strong. Great happy hour, solid plates, and great service. Drinks are well done. Parking can be a problem and there aren’t many tables when the place is popular, but worth it.“

Great salsa verde (sometimes it is a bit spicy, so careful folks). Delicious chilaquiles. Great torta. Hand squeezed orance juice. This is a hidden gem. Somewhat easy to park.“

“As a Hispanic person in a predominantly white town like Westwood, the rate on this store does not match their true authenticity. This is what a true Mexican restaurant is like and the ambience matches that as well. The food is incredible and despite its look I promise you this is as close as you can get to a perfect taco. I recommend a classic bistec taco and a tall glass bottle of coke. This is extremely refreshing to feel and see my culture up close and feel close to home even here in Jersey. Again I’ve been eating tacos my ENTIRE life and can confirm this place deserves 5 stars. You don’t need an extremely fancy set up or overpriced anything to make the food taste better. This is overall the one of the best Mexican restaurants in the county.“

“We visited this place on a Saturday, we tried Birria con arroz y Frijoles, and this was one of the best Birria in town ever! We also had Tacos arabes, the meat, seasonings and the salsa roja were beyond delicious. I have to say that costumer service is one of the best we have ever had.
