“We had a very nice meal here back in October. Our server, Shannon, was outstanding and took excellent care of us. The location is fantastic, sitting right on the water and made for a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari appetizer (very good), the Sauteed Flounder, which was okay and not worth $40, and the Gourmet Burger. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger. Since we came over on our boat, we weren't drinking, but the bar area looked pretty cool. We will come back again.“

Their seafood is fresh and delicious. I actually drive further to go to them and pass other seafood stores on my way, but they are definitely worth a trip. “Just left Great South Bay Brewery. You gotta check this place out. It's in this warehouse set back from 5th Avenue, kinda unexpected, but that's what makes it so cool. The vibe inside is awesome, really chill, but still feels pro.

And the staff? Seriously top-notch. Everyone there is just so good at what they do, super laid-back but on it. Also above and beyond helpful. I had a flat tire right as I was leaving, and one of the bartenders, I think his name was Mark, saw me struggling. He came right out, no hesitation, and helped me get my spare on.

The crowd there is great too, a real mix of people, which just shows how vibrant Bay Shore is. And the beer, oh man, just a huge variety of nothing but high quality choices. And don't sleep on the food! I was honestly shocked at how good it was, way better than your typical brewery grub.

“BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!“

“Let me tell you something about the man that owns this business. I used to be really strung out on drugs living behind the gas station right across the street. Most of the time I never had money for a meal but this guy would still always feed me. Sometimes it was the ONLY thing I had to eat for days. When I did have money, he wouldn't let me pay because he knew how rough of shape I was in. Fast forward a year later, I have a year clean and went in to buy the breakfast he used to make me. When I tried to pay with my card, his machine didn't accept AMEX and without a second thought he STILL just gave it to me. When you talk about community and delis on Long Island, this place is and will always be at the top of the charts. God bless this man and his family. AMAZING FOOD. AMAZING SERVICE. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY HE CARES, which is more than people can say about most others.“

“I found Chiddy's right by the Best Buy in Bayshore. Service was excellent. The Cheese steak was of great quality. The onions, pepper's and mushrooms gave the cheesesteak great character. Fries were delicious too. The $15 lunch special is a large cheese steak, soda, and large fries. It's enough for 2 lunches honestly.“

“A very charming shop. In town for work and decided to go for a treat. Banana cream ice and peanut butter and jelly ice were the best I’ve had. I’m a stickler with banana flavored items and it is most definitely made with fresh bananas without any artificial flavors or colors. The owner was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. I spoke with Gina over the phone to place my order and alerted her to the many food allergies in my party. I trust Bagel Buzz with making sure no cross contamination takes place in making my order. My wrap platter arrived on time and beautifully arranged and was delicious. The veggie cream cheese for the bagels was rich with fresh vegetables and salads were perfect.
