“Truly a hidden gem!! This authentic Korean restaurant beats out popular spots in the city. We were greeted warmly upon entry and immediately served tea and a wide assortment of banchan (the tiny side dishes). We started with Pajeon (seafood & green onion pancake) and honestly I’ve had this in countless places and it was the best Pajeon I have ever had- not soggy at all, and the seafood was tender and not annoyingly chewy. Also had the Japchae (excellent), Combo #1 (LA Galbi Short Rib and and soft tofu stew) and a summer special of chilled buckwheat noodles. The portions were generous and the wait staff really were attentive and so helpful. The place has a homey feel like you’re at your favorite auntie’s house. 10/10, no notes, this will be in my heavy rotation.“

“I walked into this place without much research, just saw a high star rating and proximity from where I was at that time. I thought they offer traditional Japanese style ramen. If that’s what you are looking for, you will be disappointed. The staff, service, and overall vibe were great. I ordered the Classic ramen and it was nothing like the ramen I am used to. Although it was eatable, but too oily and black peppery, it was just a different kind of noodle soup dish. I have tried various styles of ramen in Japan so I can say safely that this is definitely “inspired” by them but not a traditional Japanese ramen.
I see many enjoyed their style so it seems to meet their tastes. Just not my bowl of ramen. That’s all. Again, super friendly staff. No hard feelings.“

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“We cannot possibly rave enough about Fat Boy’s Burrito. We waited for them to open and since they finally came to our area in 2022 they do not disappoint. Previously, most of our experience was with dining in at the restaurant and picking up take out orders. The food is always a home run. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their work. We recently hosted a party and ordered catering- there was an abundance of food that was delivered hot, set up for us, and the quality matched the presentation. Our guests left full (and with to go containers). Placing the order was seamless and any question we had was answered immediately and with care. We will definitely be placing future catering orders.“

“Thai Green Leaf is my favorite. The staff is unbelievably friendly and they always make my order how I love it (pad thai with dried tofu, extra lime). I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“We loved our dinner. My husband and I are plant based and we were happy there were so many options for us. I had the delicious falafel burger and my husband had the black bean burgers. Our non plant based family had the crispy chicken burger. We shared sweet potato fries, sweet potato tater tots and onion rings. The onion stayed in the coating when you bit in to them. The atmosphere is charming and kept very clean. My dad ordered the French toast deluxe and truly enjoyed it. It was fluffy, juicy, and satisfying. I had the Mediterranean omelette. It was very flavorful and fluffy as well. Not every diner is created equal. The lovely woman behind the counter told us this establishment is at least 60 years old. It's such a slice of nostalgia. We had an even better experience than we anticipated. I hope they are a mainstay for years to come. What a treat. Really looking forward to our next breakfast there!“
