“In the area for work, and Bella Michael's was recommended. We had the best meal !! Our apps were delicious. Co-workers steak was cooked perfectly and my Lobster Ravioli was great. Had the Oneota Sunset for my drink and that was tasty as well. And all the people workin were kind and fun. If back in the area, will for sure stop back for dinner again. If you are nearby, highly recommend. 🙂”

“Simply Thai Restaurant is a staple in Oneonta, not just for great food, but because of its longevity. Dining places come and go, but Simply Thai has been around for more than a decade now. It's been consistent, popular, and a great way to try new foods. A view of the city on a nice sunny day, good service, and a unique menu to suit many tastes. They are celebrating their 13th year on August 12th this year, and deserve a visit if you haven't tried them yet.”

“I was on vacation from Texas unfortunately, because I would eat here ALL THE TIME! And I’m not a vegetarian or vegan. Loved the Microgreens smoothie so much I went back the next day and got one for me, and one for my sister-in-law, who took me there the day before, and tried the smoothie I had ordered. Would have taken my best fried first her Birthday on Tuesday, but they were closed Monday and Tuesday. 😢”

“What a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious cup of homemade ice cream. We sat outside in the Adirondack chairs looking out on the lake while kids were playing down on the grass. She charged for both on a credit card, and since I was out of town I didn't want my card disrupted at all so ended up paying an extra $9 and then the beef didn't even have any cheese”

“This was a quick stop on way from moving my son from Oneonta College for the summer. The visit was incredible. There was one employee working and she was outstanding, pleasant and quick. We ordered 4 Chile dogs and 3 milkshakes and they were amazing. Chili was perfectly added to the dogs as was the cheese. Taste was on point, fresh. Price was also on point for what you received. The establishment does not have indoor seating but has 3 tables outside back to enjoy if need. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed. Kudos to the young lady who was working that day on a Thursday afternoon, you were AWESOME.”

“I started my morning in Oneonta by googling "best breakfast" and Soda Jerks was a pretty universal recommendation. The food (egg Sandwichs and a short stack of their phenomenal ginger carrot pancakes) was delicious, service was wonderful and the space is charming.

“We are up for parents weekend and went to the Red Jug to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. I grabbed a seat at the bar (a rarity after 9 pm since they were taking all the bar stools away). As I sat there I witnessed the bartenders Water down ALL the mixed drinks.”

We were able to be seated right away, service & food took longer than it should have but it wasn't too bad, food was good and the only downside was we were double charged for an item, that was eventually taken off the final bill, but needed to explain that we didnt order 2 of the items. I'd recommend this place if you are able to make it.”

Daily items are often better than some of the other options on the menu, choosing the cafe/coffee shop "staple" foods is recommended. It is often busy, so there may be a wait. Plenty of good drinks, though some have more flavoring than coffee at times.”

I had a sliced chicken and shrimp combo platter, with wonton soup, crab Rangoon, and egg roll, everything was delicious and promptly ready for me at pickup 15 minutes laterAll for under $20 before tax.”

The salmon was cooked to perfection, the Fajita Pita (substituted the chicken with the steak) was yummy…along with eggplant fries (huge WOW) and a classic burger which was dependably very good. The service at the Denny’s in Oneonta was absolutely fantastic — Debbie was so friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.

The food was excellent, with plenty of breakfast menu options, and everything came out quickly and hot.

The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly, making it the perfect stop for travelers, baseball families, and anyone passing through on their way to Cooperstown.
