“Guys, I have to share my experience at Let's Roll because it was wonderful. I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!“

“My daughter and I happened upon this place and we were so happy we did! Chris (not sure if he was the owner or not) was super helpful since we have food allergies. He made my daughter a cotton candy milkshake which she absolutely devoured. I had a flavored coffee which was delicious. From the black and white checkered floor to the murals on the walls, the vintage looking tables and chairs to the fun gelato display case (which was nice and low for little ones to be able to choose from) the decorated garage door which let in so much light to the retro cola display fridge, everything was so well thought out and just a lot of fun. Kudos to them for a really great place, definitely go visit!“

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

We reserved a table for Valentines Day and had a wonderful meal consisting of crab cakes, fried shrimp, French fries, vegetables and, for dessert, fresh homemade strawberry shortcake – reservations are rarely needed! “I love everything about this place. The cookies. The atmosphere, the wall with the huge cookie. The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. I threw up eating the large Reeces Peanut butter though. It was absolutely bomb but I just can’t take sugar like that.“

He kindly offered us samples of any flavor we wanted, which helped us decide on the perfect frozen yogurts. His warm smile and excellent customer service made my lunch break even sweeter. I met up with my wife and daughter there, and Brad made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. If you're lucky enough to catch him on Tuesdays or Thursdays (his days in the store), make sure to say hi - you won't be disappointed!“

“Purchased this beautiful unicorn cake yesterday! It’s so freaking cute & was delicious! I tried the strawberry soft serve which was dairy free & made with oat milk. It was ok for what it was. Don’t think I’d purchase that one again. They did have about 4-5 options that were dairy free & cannot wait to try those next! Zhao helped us (as per the receipt) & she was so kind & gave phenomenal service. Very quick too. The store itself was so clean & they had a ton of options as far as cakes go and even the frozen ice cream section. Will definitely come back again & again ?

The woman who is always there is the absolute best, I think she is the manager but she is a sweetheart and has the patience of a saint with the crazy customers. “Wow! Alkemy Ice Cream is amazing! I def recommend trying it! And especially for a birthday party! My entire experience was fantastic! I stumbled upon Alkemy Ice cream while looking for something unique for a birthday and the owner Alan explained how they do birthday parties almost like a show AND make the dessert. They can host a party at the shop OR they can come to you! I was unsure how it would go but Alan was super friendly, answered all my questions throughly and assured me I would love it. I more than loved it! It was the best ever and we are still talking about it. They came to my house and put on a show for the kids that even they are still talking about how cool it was. It was like having a party and adding a surprise guest with a special science experiment show for additional entertainment that makes amazing unique dessert at the end! Each ice cream was perfectly made and was fresh! The toppings were all fresh as well. Watching the show was fascinating and the kids had so much fun learning. They continued to amaze guests as they made each ice cream right there. I wasn’t sure if each kid would be waiting a while but it didn’t take long to get all the kids ice cream after the show. They whipped it up fast and everyone got to pick toppings and have a perfectly made ice cream quickly. They didn’t need a lot of room and even cleaned up! I so happy to have found them and I will be having them come back again! Start to finish was a perfect experience. I highly recommend them!!!“

Terrence does not miss a single detail- from the quality of the coffee—to the matcha powder—to the innovative drink menu- to the hand-painted made in-house delicious chocolate truffles that fly off the shelves daily- to the warm and welcoming hip vibe that makes you feel like you’re sitting in a coffee shop in Greenwich Village. It’s also refreshing to see them support other small businesses in the area with an array of baked goods from St Rocco’s made especially for this store to fantastic local donuts. Great gift boxes filled with these heavenly chocolate bites are also available around the holidays.
