“I can’t tell which is better, the food or service. We came in around noon on a Saturday. While it looked packed they were able to seat us the bar within 2-3 minutes of coming in, coffees served quick and the food was out in no more than 10 minutes. The vegan options are plentiful and soooo good. I had vegan salmon benedict and the missus had the vegan penny benny. It was my first time and the vegan salmon is damn good here.“

“I appreciate talent and I believe you can find talent in anything. The art of "bread-tending" is observed to the highest level here. It may just be a piece of toast you use to dip in your egg yolk or eat with a little dollop of the best jam east of the Hudson river. BUT, that toast is more than that. There is a set of well trained hands that prepare that toast for you. Someone that has prepared toast thousands of times and everything from the sound of her slicing the toast is perfect. The execution is impeccable and if I can get this excited about their toast, just imagine how well everything else will taste. The talent at this place is appreciated and recognized, keep it up guys! “There is nothing about this place that is inviting from the outside. The tinted front windows are more at place in a bordello than a cafe. The tables outside are a mess. And once you get inside it’s not much better.

That said, the young woman working the counter on the Saturday I went there with my family was beyond delightful, patient and professional. Not only did she welcome each customer, not only did she graciously take orders, she actually would bring said orders to the customers at their tables. Really, she could have just called out names, but she went the extra mile. The food was great and quite affordable too. The combination of the two brings in loyal locals, one after another, all waiting patiently in line.

One major downer: There is only one (short order) cook and there really needs to be at least two. The wait is way too long. The owner needs to step up and find another cook. It’s not fair to customers nor to staff.

All in all, however, a great experience.“

“I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. I get here early, I love their breakfast selections. The coffee is good but cappuccino is even better. They have a very clean and comfortable bathroom. If I lived closer, I'd be here very often. It's one of my favorite restaurants, pleasant people and cozy.“

I had the infamous three chocolate cake slice ($11 ea.) and yes it is worth the hype. Moist flavors that blend well and is very delicious, although small slices for the price.
I also had a butter croissant ($4 ea.) and truly enjoyed that as well. The blonde cashier was pleasant and helpful. Everything here is a bit pricey but you will enjoy the desserts.“

“10 out of 10 would recommend! First of all, the venue is beautiful and spacious. All of their equipment is modern and adds that extra special touch. They included the 360 booth as well as the Photo Booth as part of the package and it was a hit the night of the party. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They accommodated and assisted with ALL of our requests. The owners were very professional and easy to communicate with. I can not say enough good things about DREAMS NYC. Super happy customer. “Why didn’t I find this IHOP location sooner? I’ve always been skeptical about breakfast franchises - especially IHOP. I mean, how good can breakfast really be? But this location completely changed my mind.

The service was outstanding, and the food genuinely impressed me. The servers were warm and welcoming. Their signature pancakes were perfectly fluffy and paired beautifully with the butter and syrup. The omelette was huge, and the price was very reasonable. Even the coffee was great - smooth, not burnt, and they leave the whole pot at your table for easy refills.

I honestly don’t think I’ll be going to local diners anymore. IHOP has won me over for breakfast!

* One small caveat: I wouldn’t recommend the hash brown. It was quite dry and tasted like it had been cooked from frozen.“

“I was here from Atlanta with a few friends and we found this location on Google and decided to try it out. I was thoroughly pleased. The atmosphere was really nice. I felt comfortable to enjoy a nice conversation with my friends without super loud music but still having a true brunch experience.
The staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was well seasoned and delicious and we didn’t have to wait too long to receive it.

“The shakes are delicious and have their own flavor to them that makes me think of food I had as a kid. While also giving me tons of energy to spare even though I'm already energetic. But it helps with my gym workouts that I've started. Also the people are kind and social. So its never boring. “I was in midtown Manhattan to see a live TV show, Gutfeld. I had some time before lining up outside the TV channel's building, so I stopped in for a quick lunch at this place. It is, apparently, open 24 hours, which is interesting given it's location right smack in the middle of midtown. I ordered some hot items from the hot bar, which is extensive. I chose the eggplant parmesan with rice. The food was good. This restaurant does not look to be the most hygienically pleasing, but, on the other hand, it was not expensive and the offerings I chose were tasty. The service was OK. One other note is that when I asked for regular water, they handed me an empty cup which I had to fill from a tap, they did not have any of those water filtration systems you see at many other restaurants, kind of a cheap touch.“

“Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!“
