“I had my daughter-in-law’s baby shower at Lombardi’s on the Bay. Not only was she coming from Colorado but we had a few out of town guests as well. I don’t think anyone left w/o complimenting the amazing atmosphere Including the beautiful, bright room and Peaceful water-view, the delicious food and the impeccable service. Will, the madre de did everything to make sure I was satisfied and comfortable. The staff did not disappoint! Chris & Louis went above and beyond to be sure nobody waited too long for anything. I’ve visited this restaurant before but now I will be sure to recommend it to anyone who wants an impressive, successful event. “I always have the skirt steak..it’s my favorite steak. Hubby always has the filet.. Both are delicious. The onion soup is also very good. The Sangria is delish…They do have a price fix menu… which has both the skirt steak and the filet… always a fabulous meal..“
“I had a birthday party for my son for the first time two years ago, the food was excellent. I was really happy with the service. They continually stop by to make sure everything was OK, they sung happy birthday to my son and I have been back many times since.“

“Been coming to J & Rs for a while with my family and they got a whole lot of seatings for large parties. The food is up to par and the servers are pretty friendly and hard working. Really like this place for some drinks and decent steak. And of course their baked potatoes with a bit of butter is a delight. Check this place out when you get the chance“
“Went here recently with my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The host sat us right next to the door and told us that there was no other table. Luckily, our Server Nick came to the rescue and seated us in the middle of room, knowing that we were there for a very special occasion. Nick treated us well, but the other "meat carvers" didn't really care about serving. If it wasn't for Nick, I would've given the service a 2 stars. The meats were em excellent. And the salad bar had great choices.“

You can tell, a ton of care and attention went into developing a relaxing, enjoyable speakeasy environment. The steaks, sides and drinks were all excellent. They didn't miss a thing at this place. The host even chased us out the front door to thank us and invite us back when he missed us walking out. Wow. If you're in town, reserve a table. Just be careful who you tell!“
