“Great Restaurant Week Dinner. We have been to about 10 different restaurants for this year's restaurant week and Essex was far and away the best. The wagyu tartare was fantastic as was the grilled shrimp over polenta. Petite filet mignon had a $10 ucharge bupt was well worth it. The space was beautiful and our server, Jenna, was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!“

“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. “Excellent is an understatement! We had an amazing experience at Empire Steakhouse. Armin was an exceptional server: attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

We ordered the Porterhouse Steak for Two, and it was absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, tender, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the dinner. We also started with the grilled octopus, which was an excellent appetizer and a great way to begin the meal.

“We started going to this restaurant just last year and our server at that time Alexis really took great care of us. Ever since then we fell in love with the place. We always requested for Alexis but last night we had a different server named Eric and he was also very great and very attentive. The host stand, server, and the manager really made my boyfriend and I 9 year anniversary dinner special and we couldn't be any happier. The food was amazing and we always get the 22 oz prime bone in ribeye and the truffled Mac and cheese and it has been our go to meal and of course they have the most amazing oysters! They have a great variety of specialty drinks and wines that pairs very well with the food. This is a very highly recommended place and they have gained new regulars!“

The steak, I and my colleague got was lack luster. The steak was not juicy and tasted dry or old cut of meat, I requested medium rare but it was cooked more to medium. They are most known steak but has not shine in that department.

I didn’t give feedback about the steak to staff because I was at business meeting and did not want to ruin the mood.

The steak standard needs to be revisited at this location.“

Don’t even get me started on the drinks, the boulevardier is also the best I’ve ever had, perfect if you also are into Negronis but prefer bourbon.
