“Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food.

Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area.

We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out!

“My family ordered me a personalized birthday cake from them !! It was amazing! It’s not often I can have an ice cream cake on my birthday because I’m a type 1 diabetic so most places don’t make sugar free cakes but magic fountain gives you the option to customize your cake with whatever ice cream flavor you want ! We had the sugar free butter pecan and sugar free mint chocolate chip both were beyond delicious! Thank you magic fountain for adding a bit of sweetness to this 35 year olds birthday 😃“

“Very nice, higher-end vinyard that offers some great wine and a nice atmosphere.
If you are a Rose person this is your kinda winery. They have a great estate rose which is much better then your average LI rose. Their cab franc is also very good and is nice and lite.
They have a small tapas menu and also have a private room for events and tours.
Definitely a must try if your on the north fork.“

“While visiting Greenport, I stumbled upon this charming café and instantly fell in love. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich paired with a cinnamon bun became my go-to breakfast combo, and the coffee? Absolutely amazing.. smooth, strong, and perfectly balanced.

But let’s talk about their croissants! I tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it was next-level. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, it was perfectly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside... a total game-changer. Do not miss this one; it’s seriously special.

The staff was warm and friendly, and the cozy decor made it feel so inviting. I noticed they had donuts, but they were sold out when I visited. (Apparently, they make a limited batch each day, so getting there early is key!) It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden treasure—hard to leave and even harder to forget. “This is such a cozy little brewery that it feels more like a boutique than brewery. They even have a small menu of fancy sounding cocktails, which appear to change frequently and based on holidays. The fun little space does have some outdoor seating, but it was a bit chilly during our visit, so we stayed inside chatting with one of the most genuine beertenders we've ever met.Our favorite beer of the visit was the North Shore Red Ale, and the Sexy MF was a close runner up.I wouldn't recommend large groups here, but they can certainly accommodate a few parties of 6 without overwhelming the taproom.“

“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

“Took my wife out for an impromptu date night to Meat’s meat BBQ for dinner. The service was excellent. We both had generous portions of delicious down home southern BBQ. My wife had to leave with leftovers! You’re getting your money’s worth of BBQ food that’s nothing short of delicious. I look forward to stopping in for lunch/dinner again soon. “We reserved a barrel room experience at Ev & Em, which is their upscale version of wine tasting. The online reservation system was really easy to use. Kristen, the general manager, was our guide and gave us excellent information as we toured the vineyard and the wine making area. She incorporated details about how this vineyard uses sustainable practices and is truly a small business. Their various wines are all estate wines and so good! After the tour we had our tasting experience in the barrel room. This included a delightful charcuterie with many local products. This was even better than our vineyard experiences in Italy (really!). The whole place was beautiful and had lots of nice areas both inside and outside for enjoying your North Fork wine tasting experience.“

We loved the indoor-outdoor picnic area with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the vineyard views. They also have live music that changes every weekend, which adds such a fun vibe. “This is the best taco place in the North Fork. Many places are overrated but this place this great. We always get it on the go or to bring home and eat. They even make their own taco shells that are light and crispy. Also, the meat is very nice chicken. We hate pulled chicken and this place cubes white meat really nice without over seasoning. Great eats guys!“
