The chicken empanada was soft and warm, with the perfect texture not dry like other places. It was so fresh and flavorful, I couldn’t get enough! “First time ever in New York, had a 3 hour layover at Laguardia. Of course I wanted pizza. Lived up to NY's fine reputation of superior pizza. I got the classic, pan and two gigantic garlic rolls. The pizza sauce and dipping sauce for the rolls was some of the best sauce I ever had. Sweet with some twang but not in your face. Thank you for helping with my first NY experience.“

“Been to Levant a couple of times now and I feel i’m ready to share my experience. First time I ordered a sausage feteer to go. It was still perfectly crispy when I got it home. I like the square bottom bag and the octagonal box the feteer comes in. Today, I was in the mood for a wrap. I ordered the beef shawarma. They toasted the wrap - nice and hot on a giant panini press. It was so juicy I didn’t need the special Levant sauce. Then I thought let me dig the wrap in the sauce and wow. Tasted even better. Will be back to sample their meat pies next!“

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and everything came out in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend la riserva to my friends.“

“I have been coming to this place for a long time (4 years to be exact!). The breakfast menu is my favorite, but I also recommend the lunch and dinner platters that are delicious too! Giselle is the best cook and the delivery guy is a charm. I've never had any bad experiences with my visits here or when I order for delivery. This place is always clean, too.Sometimes they DO get overwhelmed with a lot of customers (because their food is so good!) and you may wait a little longer than usual; but they still work very hard, diligently and follow the CDC health guidelines. Pasta and arancini were great, loved the complimentary focaccia and pesto sauce too. The pizza didn’t quite hit the mark (more flatbready) but was still good & flavor too. Still recommend for yummy Italian in East Harlem!!!“
