“Consistently excellent food and service. Since we discovered Yard of Ale a few years ago, we have returned many times and never had a bad meal or less than excellent service. As people who love a good prime rib, The Yard of Ale is top on our list and always perfectly flavored and cooked. It is impressively tender. We always compare other restaurant's prime rib to theirs, no one beats it so far! We also really love the ceasar salad with homemadecroutons and dressing, the chicken french is good and the creme brulee is amazing! Sometimes we miss out on the flavor of the day because we can't get there until later in the evening, but there is usually regular creme brulee and many other amazing deserts to choose from, they do not disappoint! The bar drink selection has alot of variety, including cocktails like the carmel apple martini.”

“We get alot of food at j&t, super bowl Sunday we got subs, my wife got the chicken finger sub and all that came on it was A LIttLE boss sauce- no cheese, no lettuce, no tomatoes. Just a dry sub . Get your mouth watered up and look at a dry sub, this has happened before where you get some meat on sub and next time nothing. Not very consistent at all. Pizza is great but subs I’m going to geneseo.”

“I had the roast beef grilled cheese and hubby had the chopped steak sub. Both were absolutely AWESOME. The fries we got as a side were crunchy, crispy and PERFECT. I also picked up some Italian cookies while we were there. It was our first time eating here, and we will definitely be back.”

“This place has a little for every taste bud. The food is prepared beautifully and the chef is top notch. We had a flight of wine slushys and cheeseburger soup with a special Swiss cheeseburger on a lightly grilled hoagie. We dined in the outdoor cafe. Overall service , food ajd atmosphere was a 11/10 ! Strongly suggest visiting between October 1st - 14th!”

“My elderly dad was having a fit about his Beef on Wek sandwich not being right, after I explained to him that it was, but two different management people very patiently worked with him on it three different times and tried to get it to what his expectations were. I was losing patience and never really got to eat my meal because I was attending to dad. I just wanted to thank you (at the Avon location) for helping me through this and not making it worse! “This is a great place to be, the staff and people who are there are friendly and personable. It is my favorite place to stop at when I am in the area doing scuba work for municipalities or just passing by. Our favorite bar tender was out due to surgery, but her replacement was just as accommodating. It is truly a place that you can stop in and feel welcome striking up a conversation with anyone at the bar. Absolutely a great time. I hope to attend a band event someday.”

They came out beautifully, and I'm mad at myself for not getting a picture of them before they were completely devoured. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious and beautifully decorated they were. Sweet Arts was so easy to communicate with and provided us a suggestion for the decorated cookies. We love treating ourselves to their sweets and coffee every so often and I wanted to share their delicious treats with our party guests. Thank you Sweet Arts for making such delicious and beautiful deserts for our daughter's graduation party 🥰”

“Amazing spot! Passing through and stopped for taco bell, decided to come here instead, and boy was that the right decision! We ordered the lunch special of a steak quesadilla with rice and beans, and the Santa fe burrito, with an order of birria tacos as well, plus a mojito for her. Everything was cooked perfect, the meat was tender and juicy, the rice and beans weren't stale, the burrito was loaded up, and the birria tacos had lots of flavor (get extra napkins with them though!). Food came out fast, and they were very attentive. For 50 bucks plus tip, I couldnt have had a better lunch out, and We left extremely full. Will be stopping by whenever we pass through!”
