“Firstly, they were open on Labor Day so kudos for that! Secondly, I ordered a large cheese pie tonight it was done right around the time they said it would be, I picked it up and they threw a few zeppole to me on the house to go with it! “Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table! What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. If you want a five star experience with both food and service, go to Pelligrinos!“

“When faced with the prices to eat at the Legoland hotel we decided to venture into the beautiful little town of Goshen. We came across Sorrento and we are so lucky we did. This place doesn’t sacrifice quality for portion size - you get both at an incredible price. We ordered the smallest sized pizza and even after feeding the 3 of us we still took 2 pieces back to the hotel with us. The food was easily surpassed by the service we received. Sam goes above and beyond and he was easily the highlight of dinner. Sam offered to take a family photo (without even being asked ) and even offered retakes later. We grabbed one of the tables outside and enjoyed the view of Goshen on a perfect summer night. After dinner we hit the walking trail that runs through the town to work off some of the pizza. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and look forward to visiting next time we are back.

“The most racist place I ever been too. Was accused of things like nothing I ever seen before. The bartender Shannon got in my face, after she lied and made such serious accusations. You can see things on the video cameras. I was asked not to come in there no more. I was told my kind isn't welcomed there.“

“Chicken Cutlet Hunt

Brother Bruno’s in Middletown surprised me. I tried their chicken cutlet with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, American cheese, and a drizzle of oil and vinegar—absolutely amazing. Easily the best cutlet I’ve had so far, scoring a solid 8.9/10. The size was great and the blend of all the flavor were perfect.

The cold cut was excellent, but the pizza, while flavorful, wasn’t the best in Middletown as they promised nonetheless—thin, tasty and appealing . Fries were good too, just needed a touch more salt. A strong contender, but the hunt continues!“

“Barrel 28 is a wonderful place to have an event in their private room. We recently had our daughters bridal shower there. Everyone raved about the food, which was wonderful. “I placed an order for delivery and I must say I could not have had a better experience!!! The food came on time and the delivery guy was amazing! He was very nice and made sure everything was correct. A few days later we went in to get a few slices and he was folding pizza boxes, helping behind the counter, and doing anything and everything needed. This guy does it all. In addition, I could tell that he was very nice to his boss and fellow employees. It was clear the respect his coworkers gave him and the comradery between them. Atmosphere is clean. Not many places to sit & eat in.

For small orders, the service is quick. Large orders are cooked to order. They do a lot of business so food is fresh either way. Salads are plain, basically some iceberg lettuce & a few veggies.

Prices are reasonable.

Only 4 stars due to quality control: 1) Chicken wings, while meatier & less greasy that surrounding places, has occasional feathers. 2) Also ordered a 12 piece wings & got 11. Normally get 12 ( once or twice 13).

Still would recommend. Not sure if suitable for strict vegetarians since quality control isn't the best
