“Exactly what you want a Carvel to be. The soft-serve ice cream is delicious in a way that the other ice cream stores and trucks can’t/don’t match. And somehow this particular Carvel seems to make extra creamy soft-serve, even though I know that’s unlikely since I assume they’re following a standard recipe. Service is always friendly and helpful, and they have buy one get one free Sundaes on Wednesday!“

“I had the strawberry ice cream with KitKat and I must say it was the best strawberry ice cream I have ever had in my life. Strong but not overpowering strawberry flavor with an extremely creamy rich texture.The portions are also huge and they have a huge selection of both ice creams and other delicious treats like truffles and caramel apples with various toppings. They also have ice cream cakes.“

“Called in advance to see if they had nut free options for a friend who has a free nut allergy , but I wanted to take him for ice cream. The gentleman working was so helpful and let us know that they have separate nut free cases of ice cream and a totally separate case with the “nut friendly” ice creams. The scoopers don’t cross contaminate so it was super safe for our friend. Gentleman was super friendly when we arrived and ice cream was delicious. Tons of choices and variety!“

“You may be thinking that all Carvel locations are alike, but they're not. I have visited many Carvel locations in many states, and this one (fortunately my "home" Carvel store) is the best. The soft ice cream is consistently dense and smooth, never runny, and they have a large selections of hard ice creams and sherbets, all of which are delicious. Portion sizes are generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. Never disappointed with anything from this place.“

“I was in the area and was looking for a breakfast place. I'm so glad I found this spot. I've been to the area many times, but hadn't been to this spot.

The staff was friendly and helpful. There were other customers there, but the line moved very quickly. I ordered an iced coffee and a BLT; my order was prepared very quickly.

They have indoor seating and an outdoor patio with tables and chairs with a view.

They have a full deli, pastries, drinks and more. I'm glad I found this place. It quenched my hunger and was what I needed! I'll be back again the next time I'm in the area.“

“Tonight... I chose to dream back to the 1970s when Baskin-Robbins were standalone ice cream parlors. This evening however in 2024, I was greeted by a terrific young fellow named Michael. I told him about my escapades with friends as kids in the 1970s with Baskin Robbins and I said would you make me the best banana split you've ever made anyone and his reply was, Sir, I most certainly will. On top of this perfectly ripened banana was Cold Brew Oreo, World's Famous Chocolate, and Jamaica Coffee ice creams. It was politely topped with chocolate syrup, butterscotch, wet nuts, a touch of whipped cream and three wonderful cherries. Not only was I reliving the 1970s but I was given a slice of heaven by a courteous young professional that made the experience worthwhile. The entire crew on tonight was stellar. So everyone, when you want great ice cream come to this location and you'll be treated like royalty.“

Eliza is one of the kindest, most professional employees I’ve encountered at Cold Stone in Scarsdale. She always greets with a smile, stays patient, and truly cares about customers.

It’s upsetting to see adults leave condescending reviews just because she clarified they don’t serve rolled ice cream. Being a teenager doesn’t make her any less capable & she consistently goes above and beyond.

“This Carvel has single handily changed my view on life. You may be thinking ice cream is a simple pleasure many indulge in meaninglessly. This is NOT true for me, every bite is an experience in its own, every moment one to be cherised. On a particular dark, gloomy night I defeatedly walked into Carvel, my head hung low in shame. Was I, the biggest icecream enthusiastic in the world really about to settle for Carvel? I walked up to the counter and my pessimistic attitude was flipped upside down, and so was my world. The beaming worker smiled at me and his smile flashed such a warm radiance I was worried all the Icecream would melt! He was kind when serving me and the icecream made my gloom into joy. I looked at the recipt and saw the workers name was Dean. My experience on this night was an insightful one in which I learned never to judge a book by its cover, and hope can be found in the most unexpected places. 5 stars would recommend!!!“
