“My new favorite bagel shop/deli in Rockland County! Perfect location, wife/husband owners are both lovely people, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely good people. Bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffees, etc. are all always fresh and delicious! Location itself is light, airy, good and energy and decorated adorably for February/Valentine’s Day! It’s always a hit and never missing each time I stop in! Definitely worth my recommendation!“

“Went in Friday morning for a quick breakfast pickup, in and out in 5 minutes with 3 delicious and fresh breakfast specials. Great customer care and most importantly delicious food. My bill for 3 people was $27 including drinks.

“I was looking for authentic NY bagels, which most sellers don't have.Got lucky at Kathy's Bagels. Just discovered this location, brought home 2 bagels, toasted the 'everything bagel' added butter. Delicious!! Perfect texture and so tasty! Also bought the cheddar bagel, I'm so looking forward to having soon. I was pleasantly surprised with the vast number of foods they offer, from deli to hot prepared meals and more. I highly recommend Kathy's Bagels Cafe & Deli if you're looking for quality food and delicious taste! Very friendly staff, welcoming environment and pleasant experience!“

Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside — just the way real New York–style bagels should be.
They have a great variety of spreads, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

“Delicious!! We were up here on a mini vacation. And anytime we're in New York. Whether it's Manhattan or New York State, I always grab a few bagels to take home and freeze. If you're wondering if you can freeze bread, yes, yes you can. I grabbed a few and so did my friends and we all agree that this was the best bagel we've had in quite some time. Agree that this was the best bagel we've had in quite some time. I am in Philly and they live in South Jersey. If you're in the area, go here, this is a must, grab a bagel or a dozen (I kind of wish I bought more lol).
My go-to is always everything bagel however, I saw an onion pumpernickel, wow just wow is all I can say.“

“I was just served the finest everything bagel with butter that I've had in years, maybe even decades! Hot, slight snap on the outside and baked to perfection on the inside. A nice size but not overly doughy. It brought a tear to my eye and will haunt my dreams when I have to go back to Texas. My new go-to whenever I visit home in Rockland!“

“The kindest gentleman made my wife and I the most amazing turkey, ham, and provolone hoagie this morning as we were passing through from NC doing some family genealogy nearby. Holy smokes! There was easily an inch and a half of meat on the footlong! The bread was perfect. The tomato and lettuce were very fresh. When we carried the hoagie out to the car, we were surprised how heavy the sandwich was. Definitely getting our money‘s worth here! Wow, and it tasted even better than I’m describing!!“

The toast on the bagel was perfection that ideal crunch and they didn't skimp on the toppings at all. The avocado was fresh and flavorful, making for a truly fabulous bite. “Everyone loves to complain about Fred, but he's just a hard working man who gets annoyed when people are on their phones and holding up the line that he's trying to move along. I've seen him be super friendly to regulars (including me) and go out of his way to do nice things for people. The other employees are also very nice, hard working guys, who always say hi and flash a smile, even when they are not waiting on you. The bagels and sandwiches here are good, and he does pizza bagels during the week that my boyfriend from CT still raves about (and gets every time he comes down here). Also, if you don't have a lot of time and need a quick stop for breakfast or lunch, Fred will have you in and out in record time.“
