“Used to go for lunch at least twice a week when I worked in Stamford… for 15 years straight! Since I moved out of the area, literally ANY time I pass through Stamford (or even a half hour from it!) I stop for that incredible salad of theirs. There’s nothing like it, covered in feta, Gorgonzola and onions, with that perfect house dressing. It’s simply the best and remains my favorite salad ever!“

“Food was very good service was pretty good we got our food pretty fast except the host/waiter never cracked a smile. Very dry person. Kind of rude at times but it is what it is. Mexican guy with long hair. Wasn’t really kind to the kids either. I had the chart octopus and grilled shrimp and a Greek salad. Everything was good. Except the host/waiter.

Parking: There is a parking lot but it’s small maybe 10 to 15 spots“

“We are long time Lefteris fans and have had lunch at this relatively new satellite branch in Pleasantville several times. While not nearly as big, boisterous or busy as the mother ship in Tarrytown, the menu is basically the same and the food consistently delicious. It’s the much smaller and quieter cousin, but a very nice place to enjoy the best Greek food in Westchester!“

Lefteris is the most popular “chain” in all of Westchester and what I love most about it is the consistency across all their dishes. From their dolmas to the gyro, all remains the same and is super tasty. I really wish they had an olive oil bread service because I think it’d truly round off all of their offerings with something so simple but yet delicious. Pictured is the hummus with pita bread, mozzarella sticks, avgolemono soup, Greek salad, gyro platter, chicken gyro wrap and souvlaki platter. It was a rainy evening and we were sat down immediately. The space in this restaurant compared to the other locations is huge. Tons of tables and friendly waitstaff. If you’re in the mood for some Greek food, stop by a Lefteris near you.“

“Great food. The Plain Tart yogurt is second to none. You can't find that kind of quality tart yogurt anywhere else. I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.“
