“Food was very good service was pretty good we got our food pretty fast except the host/waiter never cracked a smile. Very dry person. Kind of rude at times but it is what it is. Mexican guy with long hair. Wasn’t really kind to the kids either. I had the chart octopus and grilled shrimp and a Greek salad. Everything was good. Except the host/waiter.

Parking: There is a parking lot but it’s small maybe 10 to 15 spots“

“Was looking forward to a good gyro. Heard this place was awesome. Hot and fresh. I had a beef/lamb gyro. Came with French fried onions sauce and it. Then tried the peach tea & orange cake. Amazing flavor and great taste full of flavor. They had a fried chicken gyro which took to go. Service was fast and friendly.“

“WOW!!! Best spinach pie ever! My wife spent time living in Greece and ate a spinach pie every day for lunch. She has been trying to find a similar pie for me to enjoy since I was not there. We have had spinach pies from the West coast to NYC. Here we found the best she has ever had and me as well. “I have my Coffee there every morning. They know how I like it. With heavy Cream. Apparently no one else drinks it this way. I believe they buy the creamer just for me. For my coffee. If I'm a few cents short they always say it's okay. Tomorrow tomorrow !!!! These are good people. Very kind & helpful... I would recommend them to anyone... Good place !!!!! However, the chicken gyro was not nothing like the chicken gyro in Greece (at least the one in Athens). The sauce that comes with the pita is amazing!BTW- although overpriced- they do offer GF pita, which is nice!

“We went to Samdan Mediterranean Restaurant on our last day in New York. We went with 2 kiddos under 10 and ordered the chicken nuggets for them. For the adults, we ordered falafel, tabouli and hummus for an appetizer, and both were very good, had lots of flavor though the portions were smaller than we expected and we needed to ask for the Nan bread.

We followed up with the sultan platter for the table, and it came with rice, we also ordered a bruschetta salad. The portion for the platter was more than enough for 4 adults, and it had an assortment of meats, including lamb, chicken. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of red wine and found the pricing and portion sizes to be good for our group.

Overall, great atmosphere and place to have a nice dinner out for a group of adults.“

“Now after recently coming back from Greece, I wanted something a bit more traditional. Lefteris is the most popular “chain” in all of Westchester and what I love most about it is the consistency across all their dishes. From their dolmas to the gyro, all remains the same and is super tasty. I really wish they had an olive oil bread service because I think it’d truly round off all of their offerings with something so simple but yet delicious. Pictured is the hummus with pita bread, mozzarella sticks, avgolemono soup, Greek salad, gyro platter, chicken gyro wrap and souvlaki platter. It was a rainy evening and we were sat down immediately. The space in this restaurant compared to the other locations is huge. Tons of tables and friendly waitstaff. If you’re in the mood for some Greek food, stop by a Lefteris near you.“

“Very good if your looking for a quick eat. My favorite order is BBQ chicken thighs with sweet potato fries. I highly suggest trying their chinola pineapple drink super good. When I want my order two last me for about 2-3 days I get a whole chicken with a side of BBQ sauce which is hands down a 10/10. Chicken ranch is great, quick service, and tasty eating for an affordable reasonable price.“

“Great food. The Plain Tart yogurt is second to none. You can't find that kind of quality tart yogurt anywhere else. I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.“

Love to see such a welcoming family owned business. The chef even offered for us to call her for cooking advice. The music playing was also awesome. Gluten free friendly. “Good food and service. I had a BLT, which had very tasty bacon and crisp lettuce and fresh tomato. It also came with a pickle and Cole slaw. I also had french fries, which were good as well. Nice views of Central Avenue from this diner on a hill.

“I would like to pass along my review on Lefkes. Specifically, the extraordinary "ambassador"--the Lefkes manager--Eva who greeted our party. She greeted our party at the door, made our group feel special while making each individual feel recognized in a sea of humanity of guests. We were celebrating an office birthday party. She greeted each person with an elegance be-fitting of European royalty, with class and style. She ensured we were seated with a wonderful view of the dancing and action, while being able to enjoy our personal space. The food was to die for...she assisted the staff in serving the food and clearing our table to keep our dinner moving. When one of the people in our party requested a frappe, Eva asked one of the servers, "Dimtry" to prepare a classical Frappe. It was rich and creamy...Eva capped off our evening by having birthday pastries brought out with the flaring streamer...a memorable event from a very memorable person! thank you Eva and Lefkes! it became our Greek vacation!
