“I ordered a BLT and the taste was good but the sandwich was a little skimpy. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was cute (old fashioned diner). Price was about $5 more than I've paid elsewhere.Parking: Parking is difficult because of the Bronxville train station. You have to pay for parking.“
“Fresh and tasty, I love their salmon burger and the chicken souvlaki sandwich. The fries are okay. Their greek salad is good too. The service is great, at times it’s a bit slow but mostly fast service. The restaurant is clean but there is something about it that just doesn’t feel cozy and warm to dine in. I have been there a couple of times and I always forget to take pictures.“
“Upon entrance we were received with a very warm, welcoming greeting. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The food itself tasted very fresh, very authentic, and the portions were very filling. I've been looking for a nice Greek Restaurant in the area and this is now my go to spot.“
“Must visit! Want authentic, phenomenal food at reasonable prices? This place it is. Upscale food, fantastic flavors, and great friendly service.I was so impressed, this was my first time and we stumbled upon it. The quality of food for the price was outstanding. It’s an intimate spot that’s decorated beautifully. The family next to us was their third time there in a month. The owner Adan, is very warm and welcoming. He’s been doing this for over a decade and has lived in Greece and was taught 1:1 by grandmother. We had two appetizers, sangria, vegetarian moussaka and chicken gyro sandwich. Of course we went home with baklava. Will be returning.Dietary restrictions: There were vegetarian options.“
“Herb & Olive Mediterranean is one the best Mediterranean, strike that, one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Artistically designed with an open counter facing the street for drinks and dining, a high ceiling and plenty of open space, displays of imported delicacies, freshly prepared takeout and pastries as you walk in (we were there last night and the front was open which was great) give way to a sit down eatery reminiscent of a Greek taberna. Our server Katerina was helpful, engaging, and took a genuine interest in my group. The food is perfectly prepared by Chef Phil. His tzatziki has just the right seasonings, the beet, almond, and goat cheese salad is perfect and plentiful, the roasted veggies and lemon potatoes are fresh, crispy, and light. My roasted salmon (with an extraordinary glaze) was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. My sister loved her pesto. And, the cocktails that we had — white wine sangria and tequila with watermelon, cucumber and lime, we’re totally refreshing. Kudos to owner Julia for this fantastic restaurant. We will be back many times!!“
“Amazing staff and amazing food! I often place large lunch orders for my team and they always take care of us. Not only is their food incredible (that falafel souvlaki HITS every time), the chef and management team are so kind to us-- we are so lucky to have developed a relationship with these wonderful people.“
“Best Mediterranean food experience, such a delicious food really like the octopus and salmon everything so tasty and fresh. Like the service waiters are so friendly and professional. Highly recommend for who is looking unforgettable food experience.“
“I stopped here today for lunch right when they opened at 1130a. I appreciate how punctual they were with opening !! Right upon entering, the staff was very friendly. Very welcoming. Service was smooth, i received my food in a timely manner. Staff was very helpful with suggestions. I had the grilled octopus for my starter and the seafood linguine for my main. I have been craving octopus and they didn’t disappoint!!! The food was superb. The atmosphere is divine. I will definitely be returning and I for sure recommend this venue.“
“Recently, my wife and I discovered Symposium, a hidden gem in North Manhattan, while driving home. Its Greek sign beckoned us into an experience reminiscent of the cozy taverns in Athens, where entering feels like stepping into a secret cave or basement. Celebrating Greece’s Independence Day and the Feast of the Annunciation on March 25th, we were delighted by the traditional dishes that paid homage to these significant events, much like the celebrations back home in Greece. The highlight of our meal was the cod with garlic spread (μπακαλιάρο σκορδαλιά), a signature dish for the day, embodying the essence of Greek tradition. Our feast also included crispy octopus, kalamarakia, French fries sprinkled with feta, shrimp saganaki, a refreshing Greek salad, authentic Greek coffee, portokalopita, and the sublime galaktoboureko. Each dish transported us to Greece with its authentic flavors, as if homemade.Accompanied by a “Savvatiano” crisp, cold white Greek wine, served in an ice bucket to maintain its chill, the dining experience was elevated. The staff’s politeness and hospitality added to the warmth of the evening, and the generous aperitif of Samos wine from the manager before our departure was a gracious touch.Symposium stands out not just for its genuine Greek cuisine but also for being the sole authentic Greek restaurant above 110th Street in North Manhattan, making it a perfect choice for our family. We are grateful for the memorable evening and look forward to returning. Thank you, Symposium, for a wonderful dining experience. Until next time.“
“Some of the best greek food I've ever had in my life!!! On top of that, definitely best customer service I've ever experienced. Some of the nicest people I've ever been served by!!!! Would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be going back frequently from now on! Thank you guys!!! - Jason G“
“This place is amazing. The service was quick, the staff was warm and friendly. The restaurant was super clean. I went on a rainy day and ordered their brown sugar bubble tea! It was well worth it; as you can see from the photos. If you are in Yonkers definitely come visit this place.“
“I picked my food yesterday at restaurant while i waited for it, the lady (anastasia) enlightened me more about the menu and the food. She was great and friendly!!! definitely at place that i will be back for food and the for the great customer service.“
“Great food. The Plain Tart yogurt is second to none. You can't find that kind of quality tart yogurt anywhere else. I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. I would highly recommend Esy Kafe.“
“What a pleasant surprise to find this place in Port Washington. The restaurant is very classy. Great ambiance. Staff is super professional and courteous, and the food did not disappoint. Ordered the lobster a la carte, and the 3 course prix fix dinner which is a great deal for $39. The lobster was perfect. I ordered the branzino, mildly seasoned but extremely tasty with rice and spinach. I also had a glass of Pinot. very smooth. This location seems to have a second floor balcony for private parties. We will most likely be coming back. It's is so worth it for a day trip.“
“Beautiful restaurant. The staff was very professional. Had some fantastic dishes including the pistichios rhodos which I haven't seen before. Presentation and taste were superb. Paired the apps and mains with some excellent Greek wine.“
“This is a restaurant specializing in grilled chicken. I have only gotten takeouts from here so I cannot speak to what the restaurant atmosphere is like. The food portion is generous an prices are reasonable for the neighborhood. I usually get the half chicken. The chicken seasoning is good and I like the smoky grill flavor, but I find that the meat can be quite dry and tough.“
“Great food, small quaint place. You order, pay and food is brought to you if you're staying. Only three tables but it's clean and orderly. Arnold Palmer is delicious, everything overall is delicious the chicken, ribs, lamb gyro platter and salads. Mashed sweet potatoes need work. But definitely going back since it's a great place to grab a bite whilst my dog is being groomed across the street“
“We started with the lobster artichoke dip with grilled bread. Very good!! My husband had the French onion soup and wedge salad. I had the chicken Parmesan with alfredo pasta. Big portions on all the food and very flavorful!! The menu has a lot of great options! Friendly staff. A bit loud when it was crowded, but at the end of the night it started to quiet down. We will be back for sure!!“
“Always delicious, I've dined in, ordered through uber eats also called in to pick up and it's always freshly prepared and delicious. I remember being referred to the wine store long ago across the street to grab a bottle to pair with the meal while dining in, I followed that same reference but was surprised that they now serve Sangria, I was given a sample of both the red and the white, both were delicious! This is my go to for Greek no one else is better in Westchester, I've tried them all and I promise you'll love it here.“
