“Quick eats spot that I think is underrated. Amount of food is reasonable for the price and not to mention delicious. I ordered takeout but there are about 3 tables in the restaurant for dine-in. Also, it’s a mom and pop shop and their daughter works the register. They’re super respectful and sweet. You should definitely go support them and try their yummy food!“

Every item tasted fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Easily a 100 out of 10. I usually order for pickup, but this was my first time trying delivery and it arrived in just 20 minutes. “Came for the breakfast burrito and now I want to come back and try everything else. I was craving a breakfast burrito and this was one of the few places that had them on the menu. Really good flavor and the chorizo was not super fatty. The chile de árbol sauce is chef’s kiss! It was also a nice touch to have some café de olla (coffee sweetened with raw sugar molasses and cinnamon), which brought back some good memories. Service was top notch. The decoration is fun too with some Lucha Libre artwork. The tamarind sweet at the end is fun. They have some traditional Guerrero food that would be worth coming back for.“

“A gentleman was outside the truck assisting with ordering and payment. We ordered quesadillas (middle picture) & a tlacoyo (1st picture). He let us know they have different cook times and asked if we wanted everything served together or as it was ready. Food was great! Not too heavy or greasy. The quesadillas are handmade tortillas that are thin, light but pliable and filled with a small amount of cheese and your choice of filling. They are topped with crispy, refreshing lettuce and crema with both green or red salsa on the side. The tlacoyo was a thicker tortilla with melted cheese and filling inside and again topped with refreshing lettuce and crema and salsa on the side. We sat on the side where stools are provided. Great food and friendly service.“

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“
