Located in the Queens mall below the Macy's on the basement 1 floor, the restaurant serves a reasonable stinky tofu (the poucai under is good) and the salt-pepper chicken is ok but needs more salt/pepper.
Stinky tofu hits the spot
We’ve been going to A Zhong Taiwanese Cuisine for a few years now. It’s not “OMG just like Taiwan,” but some of the dishes do taste pretty close — and some… honestly not at all. 😂
But overall, it hits enough of that Taiwanese craving that we still come back from time to time.
Just a heads-up though: it’s definitely not cheap. The flavor is kind of a mix, but still good enough that we keep returning when we want something that feels sort of like home.
