“Rippers is located in a concession area in rockaway beach so it is a fun, Open atmosphere consist of picnic tables outside under a covered area. I find that the food is very good. Burgers chicken fries. I can just have fries .. I think that they are excellent. They used to sale a whole fish that was divine. There are drinks , wine beer. They often play music and have live entertainment.. they typically close in late summer for winter.“

The gentleman who works at the counter (& has been there since I first discovered this restaurant) is so friendly & efficient. I accidentally ordered from the wrong restaurant online and I wound up just ordering from the right restaurant and was going to see if I could call the other restaurant to see if they’d give me a refund. “I hate a lot of places and their service. But I cannot recommend this place more!!! The service was perfect and they did exactly what we asked. The portions were great, and the food was very high quality and worth the wait. Which was not long. I had the jalapeno burger and the cod fish and chips and both were very fulfilling. The cod especially was high in taste quality. One of the best i've ever had. And the fries are really perfect. Their fryer must be clean and they must do a great job preparing. The place was very busy, but they were very fast.“

“I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but this place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve had in ages.

For many years we were huge KFC fans. Then… slowly they started going downhill. The chicken became ultra soggy and “blah”. The sides are the sides and towards the end the coleslaw was the only good thing.

We then moved on to Popeyes. Loved it for a while then the same thing. Chicken didn’t hold up well getting it home and it is only about 5-10 minute ride to the house. The sides and choices were good but after a while it just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Fast forward to last night. My husband has been saying “You guys HAVE to try this place!!!!” To me and my son. So that’s what we did. He came come with some Classic Chicken Sandwiches and an 8 piece of fried chicken with two sides and some biscuits. The chicken sandwiches were huge perfectly fried pieces of white meat chicken on a bun with Mayo and pickles. That’s it. It was amazing and juicy and tender. The fried chicken absolutely made the 15 minute ride home staying CRISPY with not one ounce of condensation. It was flavorful and juicy and just delicious. (Note: the sides were good). The biscuits were soft and delicious as well.

Also need to add that the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Excellent experience and happy new customer!!!!

Oh yeah and it’s just as flavorful and delicious at room temp or from fridge. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

Secondly, the food was amazing, I got an appetizer platter and my three choices were waffle fries, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. Our sauces were lime chipotle salsa, ranch and marinara sauce. The food was amazing and the sauce multiplied the flavor of the appetizer. Our entrees were delicious, we got a south west chicken bowl and a grilled cheeseburger respectively. The meals were amazing, the staff was quick and the atmosphere was quiet and easy to talk. Keep it up Applebees!“

Seasoned great and perfectly juicy when you bite into it and you can ask for white cheese if that’s what you prefer. Their Mac and cheese is actually very good. Most people mess up Mac and cheese but I finally have a spot close by that has something acceptable. So many smash burger spots that this place is a breath of fresh bbq air because they have the fat premium patties.“

Our table for 8 was ready upon arrival and the manager kindly accommodated our request for an additional table to improve comfort. The hostess, our server and the staff were all very attentive. A few of us ordered from the specials menu and the rest from the dinner menu. From appetizer to entree, the food was delicious and plentiful. We never felt rushed, there was live music playing early on and the atmosphere was upbeat. Overall, we enjoyed a great night. Expect parking to be an issue, especially on weekend evenings. They had a valet service, and there is a municipal lot close by. I managed to find parking about 3 blocks away. Plan accordingly.“

“Recently had my mother's 80th celebration in one of O'Neills' party room. From the time of booking... to the end, I had a great experience. Ximena was patient, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations for menu options. Staff made last minute changes to the serving schedule to accommodate late comers, they quickly prepared another appetizer to accommodate a lactose intolerant guest...overall they were patient and gracious. The venue was clean, the food was delicious and even took care of the parking...valet service was great! Thank you!!“

“Xi'an Famous Foods is a popular chain of Chinese quick service food, serving up hand pulled noodles and a variety of spicy dishes.

The service was efficient and fast, with multiple self ordering kiosks available. There was many customizations available for the meals, as you are able to customize the spice level and any additional toppings.

We got a variety of dishes, but tried the pork hand pulled noodles and the lamb hand pulled noodles. Compared to other locations, this one sort of fell flat, but that could be because we lowered the spice level and had less oil. The noodles were nice and bouncy, with the chewy texture, but did feel a bit dry. There wasn't much flavor beyond the spice, and the pork was also a bit dry as well. The portion and price were good, however we'd have to try other things on the menu to see how the flavor is.“
