50 Best Chicken Wings in Queens

“Landed in the JFK airport, which is located in southside Jamaica Queens, and I was starving! I was looking for some places nearby with good ratings even though I don’t trust all the Google reviews, but this place was a 4.9 for that much reviews, somethings got to be up. Before I order the gentleman was nice enough to offer samples of jerk, chicken, and house special chicken, and they both were delicious so we ordered both
Jerk Chicken- had a hint of sweetness with the jerk spice, didn’t taste traditional, but I still enjoyed it and Wood ordered it again especially for someone who doesn’t want too much jerk heat
House Special Chicken- best way to describe this is it taste like mild hot sauce with curry seasoning, what a wonderful mix, that’s not forget the diced tomatoes, onions, cucumbers (kind of reminded me of pico de gallo minus the cucumbers) which was a refreshing balance to the mild heat of the dish, comforted by the bed of basmati yellow rice, ordered the avocado with it as well because I knew it was going to set it off!
Jerk Chicken Tacos- clever twist, luckily this was considered a side dish for me because I can eat this in two bites
Fried Chicken Quesadilla- my daughter had this, but she couldn’t finish so I decided to have the honors to finish it for her, as simple as this dish sounds, it’s not, the quesadilla was perfectly crisp, and the fried chicken itself was so buttery and crunchy, you could tell they changed their fryer oil on the regular or they use some type of special oil because I felt less guilty from the clean taste
Sauces - I forgot what they were, but one was like chipotle, the other one was like honey mustard with a touch of mango (I could be mistaken, but do yourself a favor and pour this on the chicken quesadilla), last, but not least the cilantro lime, which I drought everything with
Ladies and gentlemen, these people have earned their 4.9 stars and should be five, everything they can cooked is with effort and I’m glad they save my starvation, so when you get off the airport and you like Halal food, this is where you go!“

“Food is fire and the prices are very good. Only thing I have to say is I wish they can go back to the old recipe of the jalapeño mayo because it was so good. Chicken is always crispy and tender. All the sides are fire too u can’t go wrong with any of them.“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“It was hard to find because you have to look for the elevator to get to the food court (basement). It is very busy and seating is hard to find. But the chicken is fresh and hot. It was sooo good and whatever leftovers I brought home was still warm and crunchy. So recommend if you are around the New World Mall“

The Lemon Pepper and Mango Habanero are my favorites, and the fries with their signature seasoning are addictive. The ranch is honestly the best I’ve ever had. “My friend goes here frequently so recently I went to check out the hype. They did not disappoint! The prices are reasonable, the portions are perfect, and the food is heavenly. I can’t get enough of this place and have been 3x in the past two weeks. The workers are nice and the service fast despite it just being two workers. Time doesn’t exist in this place, because I get lost in the food every time. I would personally recommend ordering the set meal with honey-soy sauce, seasoned fries, a large brown sugar milk tea, and an add-on of the Mr Chicken hot dog. The inside may be small, but it’s big enough to become my new home. If you want good food and a good time then come down, if not then move along knowing you’re missing out.“

“i tried the mango milk and my gf had matcha milk. we also got nuggets, mozzi sticks, fries and i think my gf got a eel onigiri. i cant speak for the onigiri cause i didnt try it but all of the food was hot and crispy and honestly the nuggets gave better mcd nuggets. and it was all pretty affordable. we got all that for under 35$ if i remember correctly. the drinks were sweet and creamy but a good price for the size.“

“Part of my rating is just a celebration that they even *have* buffalo sauce, but also the chicken and fries were both the good crispy kind.
5 tender combo meal, $13, really not a bad price. I thought the buffalo sauce wasn’t like the best ever, but it also was fine and I was glad to have it. Default for a 5 piece should prob be two sauces. Thats all!

“I always get the chicken burger here, they run a buy 2 get 1 free deal on Sundays. The size of the chicken is massive, lettuce is fresh, sauce is good, and bun is solid as well. The chicken is so juicy and seasoned, one of the best chicken burgers I've had. The whole fried chicken is also really good, they sometimes run a deal for that too and it's soooooo juicy“

The place had a fantastic atmosphere & the music was great, not to mention the service was perfect and the girls and crowd were absolutely gorgeous-WOW!!! “If you’re craving some seriously good fried chicken, you have to check out Tex Chicken and Burgers. Their spicy fried chicken is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had: crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite hits just right, and the spice level is perfect, not too overwhelming but definitely brings the heat. (I love spicy food :))

What really makes this place stand out, though, is the customer service. Deep and his team are absolutely incredible. Deep is always so kind, professional, and genuinely sweet — you can tell he really cares about making sure every customer leaves happy. He goes above and beyond, every time. I love my fried chicken and definitely know my fried chicken, especially Korean fried chicken and this place is legit.The key to eat their chicken in their store at its freshest and get their whole chicken with the spicy yang nyum sauce on the side. This way the skin stays crispy. You dip the chicken in the spicy and savory sauce right before you put all that goodness inside your mouth. Oh so delicious and heavenly! Their chicken is good even without any sauce and arrives pipping hot with loads of flavor and juice inside and extra crispy on the outside. And the best part, it is NOT greasy! You can literally eat like 10 pieces and not feel greased out like some other fried chicken.I cannot say anything about their pizza but remember I tried it before and didn't like it much. Stay with the fried chicken here folks!!!! Their garlic wings are also amazing and drenched in this amazing garlicky sauce!!Service is also on point and friendly. Prices is amazing! We ordered 2.5 half chicken, 16 pieces of garlic wings, one whole pitcher of beer, sauces on the side and our order came with radish pickles and salad and it was at a fraction of the price some other places charge.
