“I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but this place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve had in ages.

For many years we were huge KFC fans. Then… slowly they started going downhill. The chicken became ultra soggy and “blah”. The sides are the sides and towards the end the coleslaw was the only good thing.

We then moved on to Popeyes. Loved it for a while then the same thing. Chicken didn’t hold up well getting it home and it is only about 5-10 minute ride to the house. The sides and choices were good but after a while it just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Fast forward to last night. My husband has been saying “You guys HAVE to try this place!!!!” To me and my son. So that’s what we did. He came come with some Classic Chicken Sandwiches and an 8 piece of fried chicken with two sides and some biscuits. The chicken sandwiches were huge perfectly fried pieces of white meat chicken on a bun with Mayo and pickles. That’s it. It was amazing and juicy and tender. The fried chicken absolutely made the 15 minute ride home staying CRISPY with not one ounce of condensation. It was flavorful and juicy and just delicious. (Note: the sides were good). The biscuits were soft and delicious as well.

Also need to add that the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Excellent experience and happy new customer!!!!

Oh yeah and it’s just as flavorful and delicious at room temp or from fridge. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

“recently visited Halal Boyz and decided to try their chicken tikka for the first time. I have to say, it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also took the cashier's recommendation to try the extra crispy pita bread, and it was a fantastic choice. The pita was perfectly crispy and added a wonderful texture that paired beautifully with the chicken.

“I love their pizzas. They have a brick oven that they make their pizzas in and it really brings out the authenticity of the pizza. Their pizzas are sized just for you to eat. You have a choice of ordering a bigger/“regular” sized pizza that you’d often see at other pizza places but their pizza size makes it so easy for you to just eat that by yourself and go. One recommendation for when you go is definitely the bbq chicken pizza! I love the bbq chicken pizza. Their spicy fried chicken is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had: crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. “I love this pizzeria, they're prices i would say is fair, it's somewhat near the train station but mostly near a local church, they so have a kids menu if your child is with you. I personally love their fries along with their pizza, I always try to come here whenever I can! The owner (or I think is the owner) is very kind and nice. I would say where the pizzeria is located is a nice area because you can sort of leave you're teenager there while you go the store or grocery which is littlerly nearby, and there's usually people there from the times I went it was half full to full!“

“I’m eating their falafel wrap over 3hrs later and it is still yummy. They pack it with flavorful fillings and sauces. My favorite is the eggplant spread. Plenty of seating there and throughout the bldg. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but it’s great for the LaGuardia community.

They do get slammed during peak lunch hours, but I’ve always received courteous service despite the wait.
