I like that the menu is simple. Customers are allowed to create their own noodle combination, which is great if they had the item I wanted to make my soup/noodle combination. Since they didn’t, I had to scramble last minute to order from their pre-made soup/noodle meal. The dumplings that came with my combo were store-bought type dumplings that I see in Asian supermarkets. Not the freshly handmade dumplings I imagined they prepped in the back. This place had really good sized portions and very flavorful. I had the had the hand cut noodles and Mala tang. The noodles weren’t too soggy and the soup was flavorful with lots of tripe and beef. The Mala gang had an assortment of veggies that were well balanced. Service was very kind and friendly. Highly
Went here for dinner and ordered the Combo A, beef noodles and a side of cucumbers. The cucumbers were flavorful and had a good crunch. The beef noodle soup was a disappointment. Although the beef was very tender, the noodles were over cooked and mushy. The broth flavor was also quite underwhelming for a Chinese beef noodle soup dish.My biggest surprise was when I went to pay with my credit card, the hostess wrote the tip amount on the receipt for me and told me to just sign it....read full review
