“Visited with a good friend for the first time. The cinnamon French toast latte? Delicious! I can’t recall the name of my breakfast however the house smoked sausage? Highly recommend. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the gluten free toast, from another local favorite, fabulous! The house made jam was so delicious I had to stop myself from licking the container it came in! We both tried the hash browns…OMG! I am excited to try more menu items in the near future!”

“We have been to all the places around the area for our Friday fish fry and Hoover’s has THE best fish fry. We love their homemade ice cream! The only thing that is such a bummer, is the fact that it’s FREEZING in the cooler months, especially winter. Can we get some space heaters or something at least?! I love eating here but it’s hard when it’s so so cold.”

“I don't know where to start with Mr. Ventrys. It was great on Pierce Avenue, when it was both locations, and it's still going strong solely on The Blvd. I have RARELY encountered a restaurant that is consistent EVERY SINGLE TIME. You crave what you got the last three times? It will be JUST AS GOOD the fourth time you order it. Consistency is so important when running a business; It shouldn't depend on who is working that day, what mood the cook is in, etc... This is how you do it. Serve amazing food, exactly as ordered, every time. I have never been disappointed by Mr. Ventrys, and I had to write a positive review. Thank you!”
