“I wanted to order a Boston Cream Pie for my brother's birthday & I wasn't sure of where to go, so I googled bakeries near me. The Meltaway Bakery was my first and last stop! I bought a few cupcakes, Oreo balls, lemon bars and mini key lime pies to sample and I knew right then that I had found the place! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cake, it was perfect!!! The quality of the pastries were also perfect, the owners are very nice, the prices are reasonable (almost LOW for what you are getting!!!) and I will be going back ASAP! “Came here not familiar or by a recommendation just looked up restaurants in Kingston and took a chance. Everyone at our table got something different and the dishes were cooked to perfection. The calamari was so tender and the Buffalo sauce to go with it was a nice change. John was our waiter and when we come back we are requesting him. He was always knowledgeable and accommodating. Had to put this review in and will be coming back“

“We have used Gwenn and Stone Soup Food Company to cater two events now and have been so impressed! Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. All of our guests were coming back for seconds and thirds and asking where the food was from. Both times it was easy to work with Stone Soup and they were responsive and quick to respond. The service was good, our server started strong and did get slower as our meal went on but the restaurant also got busy so it made sense. Luckily they had busboys helping out. All the meals we had were delicious, specifically the burrata appetizer. We also had the most delicious sweet potato cheesecake for dessert, it might be seasonal though so go in now! Also our chocolate martinis were to die for, props to the bartender. It was a bit pricey but had a lovely chic and fancy vibe. The food is amazing, and we left feeling satisfied and planning our next trip to New World. I personally have a lot of digestive issues, which cause me a lot of stress and anxiety when going out to eat. New World is very accommodating, and have delicious choices that fit into my dietary restrictions, and they are TASTY! Service was fast and to the point and the place looked clean and well kept.

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“

Good food, beverage selection (including local craft beers for adult beer floats), and the ice cream speaks for itself.

I consistently order the flight; where you can select 6 flavors of ice cream to sample. They often have outdoor events and community happenings.

Bathrooms with sinks for sticky fingers! Outdoor games, plenty of outdoor seating, and chill vibes.

“Vegan Review here, I know in Woodstock everyone goes to the garden cafe if you’re vegan. But I feel like over the years their menu has become the same over ane over, and no longer exciting feeling. Tried this place for the first time and it was a wonderful experience to get really high quality and good vegan food.“
