“I have gone there a few times recently. I love their buffalo chicken sandwiches, I order them every time I go there. I always ask for no cheese with hidden valley ranch instead of blue cheese sauce. One of them added cheese on my sandwich by mistake once, but I still ate it anyways because I was too hungry to care. Anyways, the employees are nice when you are nice to them.“

“Genoa is a true Italian deli, a gem and staple. The establishment that puts Loudonville on the map, I came in with a slightly odd request (due to my numerous allergens), of straight horseradish on my cutlet, bacon, red pepper, and onion sandwich (not horseradish mayo, not horseradish cheddar). The lovely hosts of Genoa spared no expense and went deep into the back to get the straight horseradish. Upon my takeout order feast, the kick from the horseradish was a perfect counter to the sweet red pepper with their sumptuous cutlets taking the forefront alongside a comfortable bacon and onion background to fulfill my wildest dreams. That, along with the quick service and friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home! Thanks for a great time.“

“I love this place!! The food is always so tasty. In the 10 or so years I’ve been eating at Mr Subb’s (probably more but I can’t remember haha), I have only ever gotten one sub, the Buffalo chicken sub! It’s just perfection! I always feel bad when I come in and have to give the workers the laundry list of orders for my family (well idk actually, is 4-5 subs a lot? I promise I’m not coming here ordering 50 subs at once) but the workers are always patient, considerate and helpful. They give me extra pickles and that is so nice of them. Yum!!! I will be sad if I move away from the area one day because I don’t know what I will do with my life if I can’t have a Buffalo chicken sub from Mr. Subb easily accessible nearby.

Parking: Parking is fine, it’s never been an issue for me. This location is within a strip mall but it’s never that busy and I’ve always been able to find a spot. There are probably like 10 or 15 spots? Maybe? Idk, I’ve never counted. Always been too excited for the subs to notice ?“

“I picked up 3 subs earlier for myself and a contractor and his helper doing some work at my home. As always, they were made with the same care and quality I've always received at this location. The quality of the food is complemented by the friendly and sincere customer service. Nice job!“

I booked a lunch very last minute (same day as the order) Not only did they make a great meal for the office but they delivered it for me when I got stuck in a procedure in a different town. “We stopped by for a quick dinner on our way through town. We each had a Nepa - a roast beef sandwich au ju. The staff cooks the meat fresh in the juice and was hot, tender, and delicious. We had the horseradish Mayo and it had just the right amount of zing. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will certainly stop again.“

“The 2 young ladies working at this location on 7/20 deserve to be recognized and commended for their courtesy and service. I'm a recently displaced vet and completely unfamiliar with this area. So that is to say, their friendly attitudes and courtesy were exemplary - in a time where that's rare in most American retail operations anymore - and made the experience even more pleasant than the food. Which was also a nice surprise, and well prepared. I can recommend this place as long as these two are running it.“

“I gave this place three stars because I normally don't go into the convenience store but I frequently visit the liquor store which is located next door there's an older gentleman that has been working at the store for years and years and years he is very nice he greets me every time I go in there we have good conversation he is very pleasant when I don't see him I get worried about him but other than that the liquor store friendly atmosphere but the convenience store depending on who's behind the counter that's up for grass because I have dealt with an unprofessional employee at the convenience store so I choose not to go to the convenience store anymore“

“I love seeing humans. My order was taken by a human, it was great, I don't mind waiting got to see a person. The food was good but the portions were skimped I got an Italian and was suprised to see just meat and cheese. It was my first time there I didn't know I had to ask for all the lettuce and tomato. “The subway in Wynantskill is owned by a gentleman named Dave. Dave recently had this subway remodeled, and holy cow does it look amazing! Finally, the appearance matches the personalities of the employees. This subway has been a reliable source of lunch for me for about 4 years. During this time, I've gotten to know several employees there, and the owner. Dave is an incredibly kind owner and cares about his consumers. The sandwiches are always made neatly and well organized. You never have to worry about them falling apart. All the wmployees are hard workers. They keep the place clean, assemble great sandwiches, and keep fantastic conversation, which allows for a friendly environment. I can't say enough about the quality of this subway!“

“I placed an online order on 11/11/23 and requested the food be ready in 45 minutes. It was not. Staff had just started making the subs when I arrived 45 minutes after placing it. What's the point of online ordering and selecting a time if the food isn't going to be ready? I would understand if it was during a lunch rush, however, that wasn't the case. “I absolutely adore everyone who works there. I work in the mall and I can honestly say that if anyone says they're rude... they're lying. If anyone said they're slow...they were probably busy. And if anyone said they messed up their order...the customer probably wasn't specific enough. The menu is straight forward enough for the average person.“

“This subway is in Walmart. I ordered through the app to take advantage of the 6.99 foot long promotion(please keep this pricing, the normal prices are too high for the sandwich ingredient quality). He went unresponsive and a skinny brunette lady who works there runs over and performs CPR saving his life! Truly an amazing worker who is a hero. “Di’Bella’s is an institution in Albany - and for good reason. Di’Bella’s began in Rochester in 1918. Their bread is baked in house, their ingredients are fresh, and their meat is of a higher quality. The atmosphere is dripping in their storied history and dining in feels like dining in a working museum. The downfall of Di’Bellas is the price point for their +7 inch subs and their artificially retro vibe.

The only meal deal they had at the time of my visit was a mini meal with a 5 inch sub, 20oz drink, and chips, cookie or pickle for $9.99. For the price point, it’s a valid deal. If you want any sub bigger than that, however, it’s somewhat costly. I ordered conservatively and had the 7 inch Di’Bella Cheesesteak with a large drink and a pickle. Cheesesteak: $9.79, drink $2.99 and a pickle is $1.49. All together my meal cost about $14.27. For a more casual, laid back restaurant without wait staff, $14.27 seemed excessive. I recognize they use fresher ingredients and bake their bread in-house but there are certainly cheaper options in Albany with similar qualities.

The other compliant I have is the interior of the restaurant which was the artificial retro vibe of the tables and benches. The tables and benches need a serious upgrade. It took away from the down-home vibe they were hoping to achieve with Di’Bella’s story written on the walls. With the aggressive 2010s harsh coloring, bright lighting, and artificial retro tables and benches it seems as though the restaurant can’t decide which era or genre it is hoping to emulate.

Having said all of that, Di’Bella’s flavor is worth the visit alone. They take care of every quality of the sandwich and it shows. If you like high quality subs and exploring time honored restaurants, this restaurant is for you.“
